Plugged right in and the error message (flashing "D" and check engine light) went away. Shifts normally from 1st to 2nd now, so it seems to have corrected the problem. Fast delivery, great price.

The good news is the replacement switch purchased in late 2019 worked properly for 4 years before failing. In comparison, the original switch (2008 CRV) from the factory lasted 11 years. It's very easy to replace, if you have some basic mechanical skills. After just replacing the switch in late 2023, the error code and leak have both stopped. It should also be noted the local Honda dealer wanted $120 for a replacement part which is too expensive for such a simple device. It's basically an on/off pressure sensing switch. When the internal diaphragm fails it leaks oil and fails to detect pressure.

Used this to replace the 2nd clutch transmission fluid pressure switch on my 2005 CRV which showed a P0843 DTC (symptom was CEL on and flashing "D" transmission gear indicator). Instructions provided were quite small and limited but they did, however, confirm the proper switch location for my vehicle as seen in helpful Youtube videos. It was a relief to see the connector color matched the original which I believe is an identifier for the targeted pressure activation of the switch. No further issues seen one week after replacement.

First, the threads on this part do not match the honda OEM part that it claims to replace. I almost stripped my transmission casing threading this part in. Second, the part snapped in half while I was bolting it on. The genuine honda part has the plastic connector securely fastened to the sensor housing. The SINS part is just a plastic piece snapped onto the back of the sensor and with the slightest amount of force will snap right off. That's not very comforting knowing your car won't shift if this sensor fails.The only redeeming part of the process is that SINS was quick to respond and gave me a full refund. But in the end, it was a pain to buy a faulty part, having to scramble and walk 5 miles to a honda dealer to get a real part, and get it back on my car in time.

i had bought 2, one of them was junk, the other one works fine though. so, i guess it doesnt have good quality control or so. I got for the price of two 1 sensor working, so, not that good deal.

Great product at a reasonable price! It resolved the error code and the blinking "D" light on my CR-V.
