LooksThe heygelo drone has a pretty nice look and design to it. It boasts a sleek, portable design while also being lightweight and easy to carry for travel. The LED lights are bright, and it’s perfect for flying at night or in low light areas.Battery lifeI find the heygelo batteries last about 10 minutes each. For a beginners drone, this is pretty good. In total that’s about 20 minutes. They also recharge quickly, so for the enthusiasts they can fly more often.FunctionsWhile you do have to read the manual to know how they work and what does what, once you read it you get a pretty good sense of how to do it. The emergency stop is super useful, while the 360 flip is sure to impress any friend. The high speed rotation is quite nice as well, allowing the drone to circle in place.ComplaintsWhile this drone is very nice, I have two complaints. I could not get the LED lights to stay solid when moving the drone around, no matter what mode it was on. It also seems to have a drift issue, where even indoors with little to no wind at all it drifts around quite frequently making it hard to hover.OverallI recommend this drone to kids who are wanting to get into drones but don’t know where to start. While it may not be a high tech, Super fancy 1080 HP camera 300M range it is still good for learning the basics before you jump into the awesome and fun world of drones.

I don't know who has more fun with this thing, me or my 6 year old. We are both quickly learning how to operate the drone. Its controls are fairly easy, and in fast mode it zips around pretty quick. We've crashed it into a few walls and other structures and it's held up well. I haven't had a chance to take it outside yet as our temperatures have been well below its minimum operating temperature. I am guessing it would struggle in wind. It's a lot of fun indoors, that's for sure. I think it was the #1 gift this year and not particularly expensive.

I bought two of these one for each of my grandsons that are nine years old for Christmas. The drone so far is very Durable and easy to learn and maneuver. The only issue and complainants are the battery life. They only get about 20 minutes of play before it will not fly anymore. Which is very disappointing to them. Improve battery life or add and third battery.

This ended up being a favorite gift for my 10 year old nephew at Christmas. He played with it non stop. Each battery lasts about 15 minutes of continuous play so it was nice to have another to swap out immediately. Easy to control, the lights look cool.

I bought this drone for my 7 year old for Christmas and it's a huge hit. The led lights are awesome, especially if you're flying it at night. This drone is very durable and has taken alot of hits while my son was learning how to fly it. Also he landed it in the dogs water bowl on accident and we thought it would be done for after that, but after it dried it still worked. This is definitely the perfect drone for kids and I'm glad this is the one I went with.

We were very disappointed. Purchased two, one didn’t work at all and the other didn’t work well.May have to pay a bit more for good ones but these will be returned.

Nice drone. A little bigger than I thought. Batteries have to be forced to go in and out to used.

I bought this for my 5 year old nephew for Christmas. It was a huge hit with him (and his dad)! Battery life isn’t real long, but it’s long enough for a 5 year old and it’s really lightweight, so we found that it was best to use it indoors.
