I love to be able to hang my cell phone to get it out of the way but still be able to see my navigation when I'm going somewhere new. I had the magnets but lost the metal plates due to a fire (phones left inside, middle of the night, sucked but such is life). I'm happy that you can buy additional metal plates so you don't have to get an entire new setup. I have a personal cell and a work cell and one magnet for each, this set was perfect because it gave me the metal plates I needed for each phone.

The metal is not thick enough or "metal" enough to cling well to a strong magnet, soooooo these went int the trash!

Came with No adhesive backing stuck to plastic bag
One of the plates came with no adhesive backing on it and that’s what I needed them for. Kinda rip off I think people can find something better than this really disappointed.

I tried using double sided foam tape that I bought a bit ago for another project ( Scotch Indoor Mounting Squares, 1/2-inch x 1/2-inch, White, 96-Squares (111-SML) ) and they also didn't stick so I only use my rubber case in the event I'm not driving in my car and out an about.Other than that, it sticks to my plastic and metal cases beautifully and doesn't look bad on them -- see photos for reference.
