This dip powder is amazing!I have been doing my own nails (nude press-ons and painting them myself with gel) for a couple years now to save money.I wanted to try this dip powder and give my nails a break from the glue to see if they would grow stronger and also find something that might last a little longer.It’s been 11 days since my very first application and my nails still look great! No cracking or chipping at all!This dip kit can really be used by anyone with a little practice. I’ll write out my steps to help.1. Make sure to prep your nails!!!I buffed my nails and made sure to clean up my cuticles first. I Washed my hands with dawn soap. once fully dry I sprayed my nails with alcohol and wiped my nails dry. I then waiting 5min before starting to apply the dip powder.2. Make sure you are applying a THIN even coat of base. If you have too much on the brush it’s going to accumulate on the sides of your nail beds and create a bumpy and uneven result.Also, make sure you are getting the base coat on the edges of your nails.I’ll be honest, this is the hardest part.3. SPRINKLE the powder on evenly over the entire nail!I chose not to dip my finger into the cup or tray, and I think this really helped my end result. Don’t tap or brush off the excess right away. Let it bind to the base coat and dry for 1-2min before dusting off the extra dip.I did 3 applications of the powder and 2 layers of top coat.My first attempt wasn’t perfect but they are lasting and well worth the money!I also like the idea of using this powder on my longer press-on nails because it will be stronger than gel polish and prevent them from cracking/breaking as easily.I hope you find this review helpful!

I never thought I could do my own nails. Now I'm never going back to a salon unless it's for a pedicure because frankly my back hurts.This kit is the best.I am obsessed with the powder 313 and the slightly darker pink. I forget that number.I have been learning fast and recommend everyone learn to use the apex method and shape plud manicure your nails before using this kit ( I saw it in a tutorial online). It's the best way to prevent them from looking too thick, goopyuneven or needing a lot of filing down after application.I will update this post with a video soon, it's almost 4am here but still dark so I will upload something when in better lighting.Anyway, buy anf use a dehydrator before you apply this kit because it doesn't include one.Your dipset will last longer, won't chip or lift as much and you won't have to buff your beds to heck and back for product grip.Good luck

Great starter pack. I picked the nudeish colors because imperfections don’t show as much. Easy instructions and I think it came out pretty good my first go around. A little tweaking and better prep I think it’ll be way better next time. I think these are a great old alternative to press on or even going to the salon which cost $$$.

Wanted to update my review as I've had these on for about 11 days now and they are holding strong!Added a star just for how smooth the colors are and how they've lasted! Attaching a picture of how they currently look showing growth. This is using the darkest color powder, 3 coats plus gel top coat on top for extra shineThis is for Amber glitter. Great so far! My first time doing dip nails and it had everything I needed. I liked the colors it came with but wanted French so purchased a white powder elsewhere for the first application. Tested the colors from the kit and they are pretty close to the pictures. Careful with the activator as the bottle is top heavy so having the lid on top but not screwed on tipped it over. That's my mistake though!

First time trying a product like this. I had to use three coats to keep nail completely covered. When finished I was worried about the powder around my skin, but it seems to come off easily. The feel is strong and It may hold up well. My cons are the instructions mention a bond and a matte to apply. I did not see those. I only received base, activator and top coat. The color is way too dark for me. I may like the lighter colors but I will be sending those back. The color is way different than the powder. I have attached pictures. I am willing to try the lighter colors.
