I installed this 9Ft keel shield on my 23 Yamaha 222XE and it’s worth every penny. I had this keel shield on my wave-runners and they do an amazing job in protecting your keel from constant abrasions. Especially if you life to beach your watercraft’s . Install was not difficult just make sure to prep the surface well. The pictures posted are from the day after using the boat in the lake .

This keel guard saved my boat. Bought since I beach my boat on the river every timeI go out. Works great. Not too hard to install. 10ft fits my 25ft deck boat perfect. So happy I installed it before I had an accident last year. Ultimately, I beached my boat on rocks going 10 mph and this was the only thing that saved my boat from sinking or getting totaled. Literally no damage on my hull since the keel guard took all the impact. I would definitely recommend this especially if you beach your boat, drive in water with debris or water with changing tides.

The media could not be loaded.  High quality and heavy duty. Easy to put on, but make sure you do it right so it'll last a long time. Watch the YouTube video from the actual manufacturer, it really helps. It took about 35 mins from beginning to end. Now I can beach the boat without worrying about scratching it.

Very good product but a little hard to apply. You need 2 people to do this ,but when done correctly its there for good.

Just applied one of these to the bottom of my boat, followed the directions to a tee and hit the water a few days later. In very rough water, lots of chop, I thought for sure that I would notice a few bubbles or something in the adhesion. NOPE. Solid and secure. The only recommendation I have would be is this, it is nearly impossible to put on a 7 foot strip of anything on anything and have it perfectly centered. I suggest using some painters tape to support the entire thing from beginning to end and then following the directions of pulling off a foot at a time to ensure that it remains centered. I noticed zero performance degradation, I know some others had wondered about that. I highly recommend this for anyone that has to "beach" their boat to get it on and off a lake, etc.

This is the second keelguard I have purchased. The first one was great, easy to install and after more than a year was still protecting the boat it was used on when I sold it. I wanted to install one on my new boat and ordered one for it. The shipping was fast.

Was doing a cleaning/refurb of my 7 YO Walker Bay RIB and saw lots of deep groves through the gelcoat along the keel. Patched the gouges with epoxy, got everything smooth and then added this keel guard. Used my automotive lift to support the boat while I worked underneath to line things up, prep the surface, and apply the keel guard. Followed up with a bead of 5200 along the edges and a month after install and a ton of use still looks good as the day I installed it.

Installed easily on my 10 foot tender. No issues. It's a little pricy so we'll have to wait and see how it stands up. Came with excellent instructions.
