MengTing Classical Code Cracking Game,Fun Intelligent 3D Board Game

I love this game. I had an older brand Mastermind game with pieces missing so I bought this instead. The colors aren't quite as vivid, so with the shadows of the the 'goal sequence' compartment, it's a little harder to check/compare colors during the game. Though with the flap that snaps shut there isn't the danger of the shield falling off part way through the game. I also really like that there's a lid over the colored pegs. I wish there were one over the black and white pegs too, but all in all this is a great game.

Similar to master mind but more challenging. We had a master mind, but it gets bored because either my wife and I usually cracks the code within 5 rounds. Now we got this code breaker, which offers two levels of plays(in level1 different color has to be used when coding; level 2 can repeat colors in coding) and much more challenging. It is a great additional to the mastermind when you want more challenges

My son can’t get enough of games where he has to solve a problem. In this case, he has to guess the code I create using colored pegs. We have played so much that he has figured out strategies to win every time. To address this, we’ve now added an empty position as a color, plus using the little black pegs, which brings the number of color options from eight to ten. Fun game :)

Great game. I used to play this when I was younger. I love this. What does irritate me is when it comes to showing the “guesser “ that they got it correct you have to rotate the entire board instead of dropping the case that hides your piecesOther than that it’s wonderful

This is great. I wanted to replace our old Mastermind game that got lost in a move, and found that the newer versions only had a pattern of four colors for the code, instead of five. This has five. It also offers an improvement in that the cover for the code stays on well. In the original design you could tip it off too easily. The negative is that the cover for the supply of pegs can be difficult to lift. But this is also a positive for storage.

My daughter and I find this entertaining. It's well worth the money. It teaches deductive reasoning. We are very fortunate to have found it on Amazon at a very reasonable price.

The only thing I didn’t like is that the places to store the pegs, one is hard to open and the other does not close securely. But, we just place the pegs in zip lock bags when through.

This was for some of my grandchildren so they could have it at home to play, not just at my house. It's a very challenging game and they love playing it, especially if they can stump me.
