Fiberglass Telescopic Cane 8mm Threaded Ceramic Hook Tip 46-52 Inches

I ordered the first one of these canes for my husband and he loved it. It lasted about 8 months then would not stay out. Threads stripped or something. I ordered a mew one right away and took it out of the box and the threads were already stripped or whatever made it not stay open. Then they wanted me to pay to send them back. I really want to get another one because my husband loved it so much but I am afraid I would have 3 useless canes sitting in my bedroom instead of 2. Very disappointed that the canes are made so poorly and even more disappointed in the customer service.

I was really excited at first to try out this Fiberglass Telescopic Cane. I liked that the tips were 8mm threaded. But the problems showed up right away. First, although you extend it, the sections will collapse very easily. I would pull each section very hard to attempt to lock it in place, but to know avail. And then, if i would retract the cane, I had to use pliers to loosen the locking ring to extend it back out! I was way too patient to adapt different attempts to use the cane because now it cannot be returned.

Got stuck trying to close a lot. Sometimes would not open. Threw it from frustration.

I like this cane. I like the way it collapses into itself. I wish it were a little more substantial though. I find myself using a telescopic hiking stick most of the time that is aluminum and not plastic. Still, for what it is it is useful. I will probably use this in situations where I want to take a cane with me but not have to deal with something heavy or cumbersome.

The handle came off and it was too tight to Amish girl so it broke within minutes of taking it out of the box I do not recommend this for anyone
