Used to control led strip. Has good linear control. A great inexpensive solution.

I used this to dim my led lights on my tacoma. I even checked it with a ohm meter and it was showing no difference in resistance. Tried it anyways and it did nothing to dim the lights.

Used this product for astronomy purposes and it worked great

I should have figured this out from the usage context, but it is only rated for 0.8 amps, not 8 amps. I tried to send 12V at 7amps through it but it quickly burnt the controller board.

Works well, and easy to install

I have 2 of these controlling under counter LED strip lights that I bought from Amazon at the same time, along with power supplies., Both units react exactly the same using the recommended power supplies.These controllers are slim enough for mounting discretely under our kitchen cabinets, and are very easy to wire up. I used barrel connectors like what is on the power supplies that I bought, so that everything is modular and neat. I am pleased with the installation, and mostly pleased with its performance. For brighter levels of light intensity, the controls respond smoothly, and the controller appears to be able to fully illuminate the LEDs. The problem that I notice is when wanting to use these to set a dim illumination at night for an ambiance setting, it starts the LEDS pulsating in an irritating manner, causing me to either set the brilliance higher, or turn them completely off to get rid of the flickering.Other than that, they seem to be of reasonable quality, and even with the flickering issue, I bought my second one without hesitation, and have no problem recommending them for casual lighting purposes.
