We live on a farm that has been in our family since 1840@.We now have many pieces of large farm equipment that has to be moved on Highway to get to other farming areas .I use this Lamphus Beacon to help get cars to slow down .Works great and can be seen from far sway ! It has made a huge difference from just using emergency vehicle lighting . I would recommend easy to take on and off .Just plug in to 12 volt and ready !

I wanted something for my UTV that I could use on foggy Michigan days. The magnetic base is very powerful. This thing wont even slide across a metal surface. It's that snug.The switch on the cigarette lighter adapter allows you to turn off the light and switch the blinking pattern. I had a more expensive police strobe and it was much brighter. This is LED, so the trade off for the lower lumens would be longevity.It's visible during the day, but not very bright in some modes. The 1 second dual strobe mode seems to be the brightest. For the price it was a good buy. It shipped pretty fast even with the lowest shipping option.

This light is the best I've ever used in my 30+ years delivering mail in my personally owned vehicle. It's brighter than any previously owned light, other drivers definitely notice and yield to me on the road driving from one mailbox to the next. I'm still playing with which flash pattern I like best. The auxiliary plug is handy, switch it on or off and leave it plugged in all the time saving wear and tear on the wiring to the plug. I highly recommend this light. You won't regret it. I'm going to order a spare one for my backup vehicle, it's that good!

I bought this about a year ago for moving farm equipment, and have been very pleased. I wanted something that had enough intensity to get people's attention, but without the cost and bulk of a light at. It functions flawlessly and visibility is outstanding. The various flash patterns are useful too. It has become a permanent fixture on my tractor and I plan on getting more for other equipment.

We have not used either of LED flash unit we bought. I did try this in noon sun on truck with engine & alternator off. Clearly visible in noon sun. We will feel save riding our tricycles any time with this flasher 6' above road.2 button power plug controls power and flash mode. Base can be configured or mount on sheet metal or pipe.
