Game Reaper Howa 1500-Short Action-Medium Mount (Silver, 1 inch)

Works well

Installed this on a HOWA 1500 chamber in 7mm Rem. Short mag. The install went quickly with no issues using the supplied hardware and allen wrench. Installed a Simmons Truplex 3-9 x 50 scope with the supplied rings and hardware. There was no interference between the scope and the barrel. It was pretty close but did not hit.Using a XAegis Rifle Scope Boresighter, sighted the scope in with just a couple of clicks of the adjusters. Haven't had a chance to take it to the range yet but expect everything to work well.This mount is well made with the machining and hardware matching the rifle perfectly. Would highly recommend this for anyone mounting a scope on a HOWA (Weatherby Vanguard also if I'm not mistaken).

Being of one-piece design, the alignment is spot on! There no need to worry about your scope being mounted too far left or right.The screws are also threaded all the way through the metal. Once you mount your scope, it's not going anywhere.HOWEVER, while I had my rifle mounted to an ATV on rough terrain the screws tend to loosen a bit. Nothing that will upset your zero or anything, but it gave me a little extra peace of mind to have something to re-tighten it with. I'd imagine that if you rode an ATV all season and never re-tightened your screws that they might loosen enough to where it MIGHT make you lose your zero.

Awesome mount. Wish they'd make these one-piece units for all my other rifles. I installed a medium-height size on a Howa 1500 Varmint short-action with heavy barrel. The 40mm objective on the scope leaves about 1/8 inch space between scope and barrel, and nearly 3/16 inch of space between the scope and the bolt whenfully raised. No obstruction at all.

Howa 1500 with heavy barrel and scope with 44mm objective lens - perfect fit! Couldn't be happier. Mount fit perfectly flush on the action and is rock solid. Look forward to putting it through some recoil.

I mounted this on my Howa Axiom Varminter heavy barrel in 243 Win. It is fannnnntastic. I can almost guarantee there is not a better mounting system for the money! If they made this system for every rifle model, I would never consider anything else. It is well-made, sturdy, the screws torque down beautifully and don't budge once they are. Very scratch-resistant. It is fantastic and I would not recommend anything else for your Weatherby or Howa. Why even take the chance of a single scope ring coming loose or shifting?

Perfect fit for a 1" scope on a Weatherby Vanguard. Hit paper with the first round and then only minor adjustment to sight it in. Vanguard in 308 kicks quite a bit but the scope is holding zero well.

What more can i say, this is the best option available for mounting a scope.
