Clear and understandable
This is an insightful review of the development of quantum mechanics (and theory) and the strange life-styles of some of the contributors. It gives a down-to-earth description of (sort of) how quantum mechanics works and its quirks. A really enjoyable read for anyone who has struggled through quantum mechanics in college. It has caused me to re-evaluate Schrodinger's Equation and to play with its solutions using Laplace Transforms.

An excellent introduction Quantum and Particle Physics
I doubted this topic can be explained in layman terms without equations and complicated graphs. I was wrong. This book gave me a reasonable grasp of the key concepts better than all the YouTube videos that I have watched on the topic. I can feel the passion of the author permeating from key chapters of this book. It has been a great pleasure to be touched by his unbridled love for science and humanity.

Entertaining and informative
Very amazing if anyone wants to understand quantum physics concepts without having to deal with the maths part of it. Loved it!!! Highly recommend.

Best I’ve Seen for Its Purpose
I’m an educated, but non-mathematical, professional who flunked engineering physics decades ago but wants to understand quantum mechanics if I can. This book, unlike any other I’ve found, explains things in a readable but not too superficial way, preparing one for the next steps. Maybe it’s the high school approach, but it worked for me.

Useful physics info with too many goofy cliches.
Good physics info for me. I would read it again if I could tolerate the unnecessary dumber-down goofiness.

Quantum Physics for the Layman with Exceptional Curiousity
Fascinating, relatively (ha) easy to understand, and excellent, humorous writing. Bought this on a whim in Paris and I finished it, along with a great deal of delicious food, by the second night. Usually not a massive STEM person from a technical perspective (I'm majoring in Political Science), but this leave the mathematics for the textbook. I would absolutely recommend this book. I might take a few courses in physics upon reading this book.

A book that actually doesn't dumb you down.
Tim James wants you to learn and understand science. You will learn a wealth of knowledge from his books.

Quantum physics for beginners
I've always had an interest in QP, but this book brought the academic challenges of the topic home to the pedestrian learner. I've read and reread this book more times than I can count. If you are even slightly curious, get this one. He makes QP accessible and fun.
