After following the instructions this product works great! It will save me a lot of money in the long run as the Nespresso Vertuo Pods are expensive. I would recommend trying this product out.

Coffee is not very good

Got this brewed a few cups using cleaned pods easy to use great flavor and now I can have my Kailua coffee out of my nespresso.

No matter how you pack the coffee, the finer the grind the more it clogs. The Vertuo machine will not brew coffee. Don't waste your money. If you compare a used Vertuo cup with the Disc, the holes in the aluminium cover are much larger than the micro sized hole on the Disc. Don't waste your time or your money.

Does not work. Too thick and machine throws an error. Tried multiple used pods. Machine runs the empty pod, however, once this cap is placed on top of the pod, an error is thrown.

Every time I put it the machine, it starts and then stops and the machine starts to blink orange. I had to stop using it because it could’ve broken the machine. Don’t waste your money like I did.

Didn’t work and clogged my machine I am returning it

Sometimes you have to trust reviews and sometimes you have to go with the little voice in your head that tells you to try a thing anyway. (After all, you can always send it back.) I have a DeLonghi Evoluo model and this cap works GREAT. I purposely used it several times before writing a review to make sure it wasn't beginner's luck, and am happy to say it was a good purchase. You do have to use espresso grind or grind your preferred whole bean coffee espresso fine. I've found it works best if you tamp the grounds down lightly but not so much that the water cannot flow through (this may just be a matter of trial and error, but with patience you'll find the happy medium). Once tamped, drop the cap in place and just brew as normal. Every cup I've made has had a beautiful crema and is the perfect strength.I've also tried one of the gadgets that reseals the pods with foil, but there was always grounds on top of the pod after brewing which tells me grounds were also getting into the machine itself. To be on the safe side, each time I used one of the foil lids I ran a quick cleaning cycle (not descaling) and the water always came out murky and with coffee grounds. For comparison purposes I ran the same cleaning cycle subsequent to using this cap and each time the water has been perfectly clear, which tells me the lid is keeping the grounds contained, and therefore the machine is cleaner. As well, I've had no issues with weird noises or vibrations that users of other stainless steel systems have reported which tells me it is not damaging the machine.For what it's worth, although I do not see myself continuing to use the foil caps, the little holder and funnel that came with them is still useful for holding the capsule while you fill and tamp it. I will continue to use Nespresso pods as well just because I really like the variety, but for those days of heavy-coffee drinking this $13 cap will go a very long way to make my Nespresso habit more affordable, and will pay for itself in no time!
