Good monitor
My first ViewSonic, kind of avoided them due to a perception of general cheapness on my part. Prejudice based on price was a mistake, this monitor is fully satisfactory, especially so given the price. Would buy another if I needed to.Update 12/4/2023 (over 4 years later):It finally took a crap this morning, just wouldn't power on (another monitor works just fine with the same cords). I used it for work for over 4 years, I think $30/year was a good value. I'm not even mad.

Great display!
My wife gets to work from home 2 days a week, so we set up an office at home. We got a dual monitor arm desk monitor mount for the 2 displays and she is thrilled! They are very easy on the eyes. Highly recommended!

Good monitor. Had to buy cable.
If you have an older computer, you may need to buy a DVI to HDMI cable. Both my old ViewSonic and this new ViewSonic are the same resolution. My old ViewSonic works well with a VGA cable, but my OS failed to recognize the resolution of the new monitor. So, I bought a DVI to HDMI cable and that fixed the problem. I run patched together old Linux machines, so this may not be a problem for the average consumer. By the way, my old ViewSonic monitor is a 2010 model and still going strong.

When I received my first monitor and connected it I purchased two more for my 3 monitor desk stand.I am not a gamer but if the stats look good to you I would definitely give this monitor a try. Easy to set up.If I am not mistaken it did not come with HDMI cable. May need to purchase separately.
