Easy to use & no exposed needles

Best landing device I’ve ever used and been using lancets over 35 years. They’re easy, handy and hurt the least. Highly recommend

As a diabetic for the last 18 months (it runs in the family), fiddling around with individual lancets for every test and their safe disposal was problematic for this 73 year old. Maybe 8-9 months ago, when I reordered supplies through my insurer, I got one of these, a Guide meter and Accu-Check strips. I bought this as a spare lancing tool and an extra meter to use while traveling.As far as I can tell, it's impossible to accidently 'stick yourself' or anyone else with the 6-pack of lancets for this 6 shooter. The lancets are in a barrel-like device and come out individually when the button on this device is pressed. Then it's a simple click of the tab to advance to the next lancet for next time. When all 6 lancets are used, I simply toss it in the trash. No need for a 'sharps' box or bottle. Fortunately, I don't need insulin.Of a side note: removing the 6-pack of lancets from the device before using them all 'pops' the 6-pack out so it cannot be compressed again to expose the lancets. It won't even allow the business end of the tool to be put back on again. I tried to figure out how it works after my first one and ended up throwing it away.

Perfect replacement for my old lancing device that gave out after 15 years. I love that there are 6 lancets in a "drum" allowing for a new one with a click of a button. Very efficient.

This new lancet pen is visibly different than my old one and has one or two minor changes in operation. However, it is totally compatible with my old lancet cartridges and that's the most important thing for me. The differences can be completely ignored. All in all, a good product!

This is a medical device. It’s odd that it comes in a ziplock type bag; not sealed. With that, it was a good price just oddly packaged so I took off a star in rating.

I got this because I was looking for a lancing device that hurt less and it does hurt less, however, the reason I just bought another one as a gift is I don't think twice about checking my blood now because of it. The best thing is there are no needles to deal with (There are but you never see them), no little caps, no fussing to insert the needle without stabbing yourself too soon and no disposal worries, It eliminates a part of the ritual of checking blood that draws out the procedure and makes it seem like an unpleasant medical event. instead, it takes about 10 seconds and is more like checking blood pressure. I don't know why this is not recommended to everyone who is told they have to check their blood.The only problem is there aren't any directions and I wasted my first drum trying to figure out how to use it.
