Not that warm
Liked the size and weight of these but they don't get that warm and they don't stay charged for long. I dog walk for approx 3 hours a day and that's about the length of the charge. Disappointing.

A niche product but useful and good quality
This is an interesting product and one I was a little sceptical of at first. A combined backup battery and handwarmer. Essentially these consist of two 5000 mAh batteries with some fancy switchwork in separate plastic/metal cases that are magnetic. They can either be used separately, where the flat face allows them to stand on a table in a conventional manner, or 'stuck' together where they are a good 'fist full' and warm both the palm and fingers together. Build quality and finish are very good. There are lights indicating charge status and different coloured lights indicating whether they are in charge/discharge or heating mode.As 5,000 mAh backup batteries they work entirely as expected. The only downside I'd comment on is that the size of just one is about the same as a couple of other 10,000 backup batteries I have. I presume this is to provide the space for the heating element and the necessary switchwork/electrics.As handwarmers they are very effective, though I am sceptical about the quoted temperatures and duration quoted in the description above. These are the figures I measured: at levels 1 (low), 2 and 3 (high) I could measure surface temperatures of about 37°C, 43°C and 48°C respectively. For comparison, the quoted temperature for low is 104°F = 40°C, medium is 122°F = 50°C and high is 131°F = 55°C. For clarification, this was with a fully charged unit and was measured separately on each 'half', and was very similar. My laser thermometer hasn't been calibrated but I believe it is reasonably accurate. In terms of run-time for the handwarmers I measured the low setting - again with fully charged units - running 8.5 hours and on the high setting for about 5 hours. These values are significantly shorter than the 15 - 7 hours quoted.Despite these differences from the stated temperatures and run times, they are very effective. They don't need to be used continuously, but simply until your frozen fingers are thawed out. You can then turn them off and save the battery. With usage like this I would expect them to last a full day if you were careful.I found the two together were a more effective handwarmer than using them individually. When separated, only the 'metal' (I'm not sure it is metal, or some sort of clever composite) side gets warm, and that's the bit that fits into the curve of your palm most comfortably. Held the other way round felt a bit odd.One star deleted as the temperatures and durations were so far off those quoted.

Good range of warmth settings
The media could not be loaded. Very positive experience with this product. I’ve kept them in the car, which also means I’m able to recharge them via the USB when driving. With the restrictions surrounding hospital appointments, I have to wait in the car after dropping mam off for her visit. It can be a long wait and I’ve found these extremely helpful in keeping my hands warmed through.I suffer from raynauds syndrome, I often have numb, white fingers - these have been a great help in preventing those symptoms.

A great gift or treat for yourself!
These are such a great idea and well executed. There's two hand warmers in the pack, and they fit together in a rounder, compact way (I actually thought there was only one in the box because it's so much neater when paired together for storage). The blue is a lovely colour and you get everything you need in the box - a cable and a handy little strap/cord. They're the perfect size to pop in your pockets or a handbag, as they're so small but still large enough to hold in your whole hand and warm up. At £32.99 they're quite pricey but I think good value for two, and really handy if you spend a lot of time outside. I got them for dog walking in winter, although they would be perfect for anyone who feels the cold.

Slow to heat up
These are a great idea, but unfortunately the set I have take over 15 minutes to get to their highest temperature. You can use them separately in your pockets or as one combined unit using the magnets which are strong enough to hold them together. They feel a bit flimsy for their £33 price tag and the shiny surface isn’t ideal for cold hands. It makes them quite slippery to hold. You get a lanyard and a USB-C charging cable with each unit and they’re capable of putting some charge into a dead phone etc via the USB-A output port (theres one on each unit). There are 3 heat settings and these are easy to set and easy to read using the LED display.I’m not sure if mine are faulty or if they’re just very slow to heat but having tested them with a thermometer they take too long to heat up to a point warmer than body temperature, and in excess of 15 minutes to reach their maximum temperature. I have another hand warmer and it heats up in a couple of minutes, so for the price of these I’d expect that kind of heat up time.

Easy to use; gets warm in a few seconds
Lafhome 2-Pack 5000mAh Reusable Portable Hand Warmer/Power BankThis rechargeable handwarmer is very functional and easy to use. It has 3 warmth settings indicated by red lights. It heats up after a few seconds. It is not as bulky and heavy that some similar products I tried in the past. It has a charge and discharge function that can be used as a power bank in case of an emergency. The battery life is decent in that it can be used for approximately an hour of max heat in full charge. It has lanyards and a carry bag to stow away if not in use.Overall, it functions as it claims and is very suitable and quick to use, especially this cold season.
