Hot ToolsPro Artist Black Gold Curling Iron, 1-1/2 inch

Incredibly disappointed with this order. Paid full price and expected it to come in its original packaging but instead came in wrapped in a plastic bag with visible scratches everywhere.

Really not too sure if I just received a lemon or if this is a common defect in this product. I really loved this from the start, but within 3 uses, the curler stopped heating up. The blinking would go on forever even if I waited over 15 min and the barrel would be cold to the touch. It's only been a week since I've had this so I am definitely returning for a new one. I hope this one will last me much longer as I really do love the design of this tool.

Various heat settings, easy to use, hair slides across iron surface easily. Nice long cord and good weight. Would give 5 stars but the hinge frequently catches a couple hairs causing breakage.

I have very thick, long hair and have found the 1.5" barrel to be the ideal size. I've only had the product for about a week, and so far I've been very happy with it.

I purchased this curling iron to use overseas. I have been very happy with Hot Tools products. However, I was unable to use my curling iron last year in Paris even with the converter. I bought this curling iron (exactly the same size as my previous iron) to take to Austria and it worked great! I could not be more pleased with the dual voltage iron. I used it with a converter and had no problems. Highly recommend, especially if you are using it to travel overseas.
