Installed on a 2008 Ridgeline. Image is super clear and not hazy at all. It works very well as described, however the one push function button cable isn’t long enough to reach the front dash (only about 10 ft). The video cable was about 20 feet, which was barely enough, very little play left when I ran it under the driver side of the truck through the wheel wells. I installed the camera in my tailgate and used the function button cable to set it up the lines and image angle as needed, and then I unplugged it from the camera to finish the install. The settings saved fine when I turned off the engine and when I unplug the camera as well, I didn’t need to use the button anymore. It appears it has some kind of memory that persists after it loses power. In short- once you set the camera view settings/lines/distance/angle, you won’t need to use the button anymore. The button cable looks to be proprietary and I couldn’t find an extension through amazon. So unless you really feel like wanting to change the view settings after you install it, the button isn’t necessary after initial setup. That does concern me a bit, as I would need to take apart my tail gate to plug in the function cable to adjust the settings if needed. But as of this post, I haven’t needed to. The rest of the install is like any other reverse camera. Easy peasy. Hope this helps!

Not only is this camera have great picture, but you can also turn it up or down and it has adjustments for the height of the picture the position of the lines and can be reversed or regular

I would have rated this 5 if it wasn't for its video resolution. Nonetheless, it serves its purpose. The camera comes with a controller, long enough to reach the driver's seat and so I was able to look at the monitor and make the necessary adjustments for the OSD (On-Screen Display). Options include turning parking guide lines on or off, line angle adjustments, as well as horizontal and vertical view adjustments. The controller allows you to scroll through the menu by pressing the button quickly; and holding down the button enables accessing settings.

Camera great, installation ok. The remote switch does not function. Good thing I did not have to adjust any angles. It lasted for a year and a half. Now it's dead. A hassle to take everything apart which was secured nicely hoping you would not touch it for a long time. Disappointed!

I was super impressed with the construction and image of the camera. But the first time I reversed at night it was completely dark - no illumination at all. My reverse light are extremely bright as well - I could see out the back glass but the camera could not see anything. I was thinking maybe I didn't ground the camera, so i checked it the next day and it was. not sure if something is wrong with mine or this is how it's designed.

Installation was easy and worked like a charm with the mirror with builtin display I bought together with it. Materials provided was more than sufficient for my 2018 Suzuki Vitara.

Camera fit in the Tailgate handle recess on my 2003 Tundra. The small connector was easy to pass thru to under the truck body. Setting up the features was easy but the remote is really build just for initial setup, not really suitable as an installed item.

bought it July, still works today Oct 17. it has a button that adjust the camera, very useful.
