Definitely helps reduce or spread out heat to get a more calm simmer and reduce scorching. We use it regularly.

Light weight, and keeps the heat very evenly distributed. Only thing that I don’t particularly like is the discoloration that does not clean off. It doesn’t however affect the functionality! Just my OCD!

I don't like the grooves on the surface when used to diffuse heat for my medium sized glass pot. Boiled off stains in those grooves are hard to clean. They also reduced the contact surface area to the bottom of my pots. These grooves were meant to hold the condensation during thawing of frozen food which worked fine. I can't flip the diffuser for the two different ways I use it because it's advised to keep the same side towards the flame once you started using it. I guess the flame does alter the surface coating afterall.

The diffuser is easy to use just put it on the burner and put the cookware on it. No more flames going up the sides of my pans and burning them. Easy to clean and small enough to store.

My pot still boiled. But I didn't notice anything sticking.

I purchased this diffuser for my husband to use with smaller pots on our stove which has all big burners. We used it to make espresso with a small 3 cup espresso pot and it worked extremely well. It heated up very quickly and evenly. Definitely can recommend this diffuser.

I love it! Sauce simmered for hours and nothing stuck to bottom.

This diffuser does its job, prevents burning food in bottom of pots and pans on propane stove.
