Not appropriate design for a child.
It's very very hard to assemble those pieces. My 10 yrs old boy was unable to assemble . When I tried my fingers started paining after few minutes. Connecting pieces are too tight and tiny and need lot of strength to join together and once they are placed it's almost impossible to apart them.Plastic quality is poor too. It was a mistake buying this toy.

Whoa
Someone gave my 8 year old this for his birthday. My son is pretty savvy at building things and a whiz at legos. He really struggled with this. I built most of it because he was frustrated with the directions, and I am not savvy at building things. I TRULY struggled with the directions. I do not think they are very clear. For instance, there is a piece that they call a 1x6 and it took me forever to figure out the the piece actually has 7 holes not six but the 7th hole just isn’t used, therefore, it is really the 1x6 in disguise as a 1x7. If the directions were improved slightly like zoomed in or better clarity to the picture it would have helped me out a lot. Again, take my review with a grain of salt. Remember, I did say I’m not the best at building things. I will give myself some credit though because I am able to cruise through Lego sets without cursing. This set brought out the worst in me though. Why did I give it 4 stars?!? Once it is put together (hours and later) it is a cool toy and good quality. The little connector pieces do have a satisfying “snap” to them. Good luck my friends.

Dog poop
It was fun but it broke while being built and I didn’t get all the pieces

IKEA has nothing on this company.
This was a "gift" for my son. "Shall we play a game?" The instructions are horrible. It looks like they were printed on a cheap ink jet from the early 2000s. All pictures but no contrast so you have no idea which holes to connect or leave alone. The connectors break easily. Do yourself a favor and throwaway $30. You'll be less aggravated.

Not age appropriate, very unclear instructions
Not something an 8 year old could build! The instructions are very unclear and hard to follow! At the very end of the 4+ hour project the boom arm doesn’t fit as described nor hold together. VERY frustrating to spend that many hours on something only to have it not work as instructed. Rechecked the instructions 4 or 5 times to no avail.

VEXing
Aptly named product. Just buy some Lego. It falls apart from weight at the rotation plates as pictured. Assembly is adult level and we had many IKEA jokes. No fun to build or play with. The bucket doesn't even move because there are too many fixed points.
