A good quality speaker with a small footprint but has very reasonable sound quality for its size. Its robust and well finished with good volume control buttons( + and -) and a very useful mute button. Plays everything well without any noticeable distortion. Good value for money

Brilliant for a sound to be amplified for my small laptop. I needed a speaker for presentations for groups of up to 50 and this is perfect. I use it for short videos/films.

This speaker has a pleasant tone to it but after 6 weeks it has become unreliable . Too late to return . The speaker goes off unexpectedly .... then I get clicking sounds from it .... and then it comes on and off unpredictably . I's very disappointing .

Not many speakers would work on my lap top was delighted that this one was compatible.

Good for the purpose

I bought the speaker to supplement the laptop speakers. In fact I have two laptops so I can plug this in to either of them. It works perfectly and the sound is fine. I am no sound expert, I just wanted to be able to hear streamed shows on the laptop without straining.I chose the '55' model as I want to be able to use the buttons to change the volume. They work well. Just tried the X button, it's a mute toggle. Handy.
