Good Price to quality balance- Great value
It works perfectly and suitable for what I was looking for. I downloaded the software from Elitech website and figured it out how to set custom intervals etc... easily. No problem so far.

You get what you pay for!
I bought this product, and at around the same time another with similar functionality but sold at about twice the price. It's hardly surprising, but perhaps gratifying, that the more expensive product turned out to be easier to use and generally felt and looked higher quality. With that out of the way, I'm happy to report that Elitech data logger does what I bought it to do, which is record temperature and relative humidity in my house. I managed to download the software from the US site, the only issue being that I had to go into the Security settings on my Mac to get it to load; I think this relates to the verification signature on the software being out of date.I like the ability to adjust the data logging frequency. I don't like the fact that the exported Excel data file has the sensor readings formatted as text rather than number, which means an error is thrown when you want to make a plot in Excel. Easily fixed manually in a small data file, but I wouldn't enjoy dealing with two weeks worth of data.General look and feel is a bit dated, both the device and the software. Instructions okay, but felt what I ended up doing was not quite the same as what they told me to do.Functionality is as advertised, and seems to work fine, although I've not done comparisons/calibrations so can't comment on the accuracy. Haven't had it long enough to comment on battery life either. I'd be cautious about using out of doors where rain might be an issue.Would I buy another? It depends on what I wanted to do. For a one-off application where cost was a major concern, probably yes. For a multi-sensor project, like monitoring several rooms and outdoors simultaneously, probably not; I'd go for a product where the software was a bit more up to date in look & feel, and which seamlessly handled data from multiple sensors.

Buy cheap buy twice
Should have known better but for some reason it had good reviews. Just doesn’t work.

Good value
This is an excellent gadget which performs as described. No problems so far. The software is adequate and does what is necessary but is not exactly slick.
