Competitively priced great quality ISO rated divers watch.

Quality automatic timepiece from Japan.
I usually wear Seiko Dive watches and love their quality, but I have to say the Orient M-force (2020) has impressed with its quality and build. Would have another Orient watch based on this purchase.

Higher tier Orient?
I've had a few Orient watches over the years and they always offer great quality for the price provided you shop around. I currently have a Triton mini which is a hidden gem in their range. Then there's the higher tier offerings which I guess the M-force range comes under. I had overlooked these in the past due to higher pricing but came across this one reduced on Amazon warehouse and after watching a few reviews I ordered out of curiosity. There is a definite step up in quality and build to this model with a notably more refined finish and a much better bracelet with solid end links. Advertised as 45mm or 47 with crown guard I was concerned about the size but it wears more like a 42/44mm due to the case shape and thickness. I can comfortably wear it on a 7.25 inch wrist without it looking like a dinner plate. Weight is about 193 grams which maybe heavy for some but I like that. Accuracy seems fine and general operation is good although the crown wobbles a little when out and is tricky to screw down due to the guard. The pvd coated bezel with steel insert is nicely done and action is good plus it's almost perfectly aligned. Lume is also very good but I wish it had full length hand's rather than the skeleton type employed here but these add to the aesthetics of the design. I also like the shallow rehaut which makes the watch very legible. The crown guard is removable but I leave it on as this distinguishes the look of the watch. I couldn't find out much about the movement, it's an f6727 which I believe is a beefed up version of the f6722 in my Triton. All in I'm very happy with it and would recommend if you have a wrist of at least 7 inches. The bad points were that it didn't come in the plusher M-force box 🤷♂️. Also, on closer examination there were scratches to the lugs. It's pretty obvious that someone had swapped out the strap and wore the watch before returning it although how they managed this when it has drilled lugs is a mystery. Amazon Warehouse listed this as damaged packaging only so after contacting them with the problem they refunded me about 30%. I then managed to buff out most of the scratches so the watch is now as good as new.Updated....... I bought this with a view to selling it on at a small profit but after a week of wear it's turned out to be one of the best watches I've recently bought. Running about +6 seconds a day and wears in a way that belies it's size. It kind of resembles a cross between a dive watch and a Gshock so the best of both worlds. There's not a lot of reviews on this model and imo this is a very underrated watch. Orient seem to do this, quietly getting on with doing their own thing and releasing quality watches with in house movements that fly under the radar.
