It was nice, it just stopped working today. Still trouble shooting

I finally opened the box to install this chlorinator. I went away after it arrived so now it is past the return date. My last one work for 8 years, different brand. So I installed this unit filled it up and I was all done, I thought. As the days went by the pool started to turn green with algae. So I opened the dial control valve all the way and added a couple gallons of liquid shock to get rid of the algae. After another week, I noticed the pool getting green again. Evidently something was wrong with the unit, but now I have passed the return date. Hopefully the seller will contact me. To be continued.

Trash bought in September already broken in June didn't even last a year. The lid broke when I was taking it off

I bought this chlorinator as a back up September of 22. We stored it like always in a cool dry location. My son had to put this one on a couple months ago after the tank on the older one split. I say older, but it was less then a year old. Since putting this new one on the lid has blown off twice. We replaced one lid and the second one blew. We're trying one more time. There is no reason this should be happening. Everything is clean and the filter pressure is normal. Lid is installed correctly. We've used these chlorinators for many years. These chlorinators used to last several years. Now, we're lucky to get several months. They are cheaply made but more expensive. Wish there was another alternative....
