First one had the rubber grips adhesive melting and sliding off. Second one suddenly died after 3 months. Its a wonderful mouse and the best feel of all the gaming mouse I ever owned. So trust me when I say this...Don't Buy this mouse.

The mouse is nice, when it works. Still having issues getting firmware updated. There seems to be a software bug and not getting much in terms of support feom the manufacturer. It's a shame really, because it is a nice mouse.

They put images and descriptions of the 2022 model but when I ordered it, it was the old model. I had to return it

i have medium to large hands and this mouse fits perfectly in my hand, it is suitable for both crawl position users and palm position users. it is game changing. also the weights on the side are extra bonus. Great product, i advise everyone to buy it.

Problem : Mein Maussensor geht von alleine aus. IST Zustand beim Problem : Die Lichter und Tasten funktionieren zwar noch aber der Sensor bleibt solange Off bis ich die Maus einmal an und abgesteckt habe. Habe schon alles mögliche ausprobiert, alle USB Slots ausprobiert, USB Treiber neu Installiert, SteelSeries Engine neu Installiert usw. hilft leider alles nichts.Ok, Support angeschrieben und mein Problem erklärt, als Antwort bekam ich.... Achtung!! ... : Einmal abstecken und anstecken, dann sollte sie wieder funktionieren! :) Ich war so geschockt, weil ich nicht selbst drauf gekommen bin. Also spielte ich ein Spiel, und nahm mir fest vor, falls die Maus wieder ausfällt, unbedingt die Maus erst abzustecken und dann wieder einzustecken. Als es nach ca. 30min in CSGO passierte war ich bestens vorbereitet. Ich suchte mir im Spiel zuerst über die Tastatur einen freien Platz um nicht gleich erschossen zu werden. Als ich einen einigermaßen sicheren Platz gefunden habe, schmiss ich mich schnell unter meinem Tisch, denn da steht ja mein Computer, und suchte das Mauskabel zwischen all den anderen Unnötigen Kabeln die da noch so rumlungern und zog das vermutliche Mauskabel raus. Leider war es nicht das Mauskabel, sondern irgendwas anderes unnötiges. Egal, ich muss schnell die Maus finden um weiter zocken zu können ... nach mehrmaligen ziehen an dem Mauskabel merkte ich dann, dass es dieses Kabel sein muss, also zog ich daran und siehe da, die Maus war's (man hört's am Computer Klang wenn man was ein und ansteckt ). Ich freute mich so sehr, so dass ich mir den Kopf unterm Tisch anhaute aber egal, ich muss sie ja wieder eistecken um weiter zocken zu können. Ein Indianer kennt keinen Schmerz!! Also Steckte ich die Maus schnell wieder an und ging vorsichtig unterm dem Tisch hervor (nicht das ich mir nochmal den Kopf anhaue!) und griff nach meiner Maus. Als ich voller Freude weiter zocken wollte, macht ich eine sehr seltsame Erfahrung, die Maus funktionierte zwar wieder aber jetzt kommt's ... ich bin im Spiel von jemanden abgeschossen worden und war Tod (sieht der denn nicht das ich gerade meine Maus ein und ausstecke?!?!) !!! Aber Hauptsache meine Maus funktioniert jetzt wieder (für ca. 30min) .. ich war so Happy über den super Vorschlag vom SteelSeries Support, es hat mein Zocker-Leben verändert mit diesem kleinen Trick!!

Die positiven Seiten der Maus wurden hier mehr als genug beleuchtet. Darauf werde ich nicht eingehen.Nach weniger als einem Jahr fing an sich der Kleber bei den Gummipads (an den Seiten auf den Flügeln, die man abmachen kann) zu lösen, bzw der ist halt doch sehr wärme empfindlich und nach längeren gaming Sessions fing er an rauszukommen (klebrige Angelegenheit, sehr ekelig), letztlich wurde das so schlimm, dass die Unterseite des Gummipads anfing am Mauspad 'rumzureiben' (weil es lose geworden ist) und man so halt nicht arbeiten kann.Vllt liegt das auch an meinem 'Claw-Griff', bei dem ich halt schon ziemlich stark auf die Seiten drücke, aber das muss eine Maus in der Preisspanne aushalten, ganz klar.Eigentlich ist das ein Ausschluss-Kriterium für mich, sowas gehört auf den Müll nicht auf den Tisch, ergo: Fehlkauf (1 Stern)ABER: jetzt war ich auf der Suche nach Ersatz und irgendwie kann mich nichts für sich wirklich gewinnen, daher schau ich mal was sich da machen lässt, spreche mit dem Support und schaue ob die da eine permanente Lösung finden (eine die länger als ein Jahr hält natürlich), je nach dem auf welches Ergebnis ich komme, werde ich diese Rezension nochmal updaten.Finales UPDATE: Diese Maus ist jetzt schon lange hin. Genau das gleiche Problem. Das ist einfach der Wahnsinn, wie kann man denn nur so einen Kleber verwenden, der so Wärme sensitiv ist?Der Aufwand, das dann zu fixen (selbst oder mit Support) war es mir dann nicht mehr wert und ich habe mich für die Glorious Model O entschieden, was goldrichtig war!Von drei Sternen sind wir runter auf 2 Sterne gefallen. Diese Maus ist das Geld definitiv nicht wert.

I have bought this mouse a few weeks ago to use for FPS gaming, as I wanted something lightweight. I have watched a few reviews of budget gaming mouse in youtube, etc. But due to my recent experience of other Steelseries products, I figured this would be a lot better than the other products around the same price range. I have used logitech and razer mouse previously so I figured this would be better for the money. Here are the pros and cons:Pros:Good designlightweight - a bit too lightweight actually but it's okCons:Super slippery - Biggest negative property of this product. I could not stress how slippery this mouse is, if you can actually test this mouse before buying, this would put you off straight away. Grip is zero. There is nothing you can grab your hands into. Might work if you have got sweaty hands, otherwise, it's a struggle.Uncomfortable - basically due to lack of gripLED - a bit too bright (but should be ok for most people)I will recommend everyone to skip this product, and spend 8-15£ more for a product with better ergonomics. I am unable to return/exchange this as my missus threw the box and paperwork away as it was Bin day the next day, and she was tidying up. I should have opted for the more expensive Steelseries Rival 310 or equivalent, as it will have better ergonomics.

** I have a small hand and I use palm grip** My experience between the Rival 3 and G203 is at the end of this reviewPrior to using the SteelSeries Rival 3, I was using the Logitech Prodigy G203 (Now Logitech G203 Lightsync).The Rival 3 is comfortable to use and feels very ergonomic. It is responsive and glides smoothly on my mousemat (SteelSeries QcK). The lighting is beautiful and very bright (compared to my old G203) - Though you can turn this off if you don't like it. The software is quite easy to use though I haven't played with it too much other than to change how the mouse illuminates.The only weird thing I have noticed with this mouse is that it seems to get slightly warm (?). I'm not sure if this is from holding the mouse or from the lighting, but is sometimes noticeable when you take your hand off and put it back on again. This is not a dealbreaker but an observation, though not something I have come across before.Overall, happy with this purchase and would recommend :)- - - -My experience between G203 and Rival 3These two seem to get compared a lot, probably due to similar price point and similar design/shape/size so here's my take:I had the G203 for 2.5 years before it got the double-click issue and I had to get another mouse. Before that it worked fine and I didn't have any issues with it. At my time of purchase, both the G203 Lightsync and Rival 3 were the same price (£34.99).I reason I decided not to buy the G203 again is partly due to ergonomics - The shape of the mouse.The shape of the G203 curves inwards at the end and sometimes I felt myself gripping that part of my palm together harder to hold the mouse when playing games, especially when things got tense. This wasn't 100% comfortable though not deal-breaking-ly uncomfortable. The shape of the Rival 3 is wider at the end which, from experience, makes my palm/wrist feel more supported as it's able to 'rest' on the mouse more comfortably. In addition, the sides of the mouse curve inwards so your thumb and small finger can rest better around the mouse which is also a plus.My experience with the G203 was not bad. It was smooth, responsive and looked sleek. However, as during time of purchase the G203 Lightsync was the same price as the Rival 3, I looked to see what other options were available.Admittedly, I do think the G203 looks nicer (Ironically probably due to the shape!), but ergonomically I am happier with the Rival 3. Currently at the time of writing, the G203 is cheaper by £13 (depending on the colour..) so I would recommend it if you're looking for a cheaper option, however I do think the Rival 3 is more comfortable for a small hand palm grip user like myself :)I hope this review is useful for anyone who was stuck choosing between the two like I was!

Good shape, dpi button is too big, i expected a lot of quality from this mouse, the side rubber grips started to slide downward and is touching the mouse pad, you have to stick again the rubber on the detachable sides so you can use the mouse again, is really annoying, too expensive for poor quality, if you have g403 keep it; rival 600 is not worth it, they could make it a bit lighterOnly 1 star for bad quality, i dont think i used this more then 50 hours
