Love playing water volleyball with this high-quality net!
Works great for volleyball and badminton games in our in-ground pool! We have a uniquely shaped pool and after looking at much more expensive alternatives, we made this regulation, well-made volleyball net work successfully for about $35!Because I learn a lot from other reviewers, I will share our process here: 1 - To each of the upper corners of the volleyball net, we threaded the plastic-covered cable cord (that is inside the volleyball net) through a one side of a small metal 'cinch' and then back through the other side, to created a loop. (I think it is called a 'cinch' - see photo). This loop will be attached with carrabeeners (think mountain-climbing equipment) on each side of the pool when putting the net up for use. 2 - On one side of the pool, we screwed in an old gate handle into our cement wall and used a large, strong carrabeener to attach to the volleyball cable loop we just made. There's a 2' wall on that side of the pool and the net simply drapes over the wall. 3 - On the other side of the pool, we used 2 PVC Pipes - one 2.5' pipe as "the base" and a longer PVC (smaller diameter) pipe that is inserted inside the 2.5' PVC pipe when the volleyball net is needed. Here's more details, so that you can 'get the picture'.... We inserted a PVC pipe (about 2.5 feet long) into a corner of our raised bed garden (which is about 1.5' high); soaking the dirt with a lot of water helped us pound it in to about 1' underground (with the other 1.5' of the pipe continuing up through the raised bed garden). This 2.5' PVC pipe stays in the garden all the time - we capped this pipe off at dirt level so it looked okay when the net is not being used and only peeks out above the garden a little bit.Next we used a much longer PVC pipe, with a slightly smaller diameter than the 2.5' PVC pipe (we call the 2.5 pipe "the base" - as it is always in the garden). We inserted the longer pipe into the larger-sized "base" 2.5' PVC pipe, determining the height we needed for the volleyball net and drilled a hole through the high end of the long PVC pipe and attached a strong "O" bolt through the pipe that says there permanently. Another carrabeener attaches to the "O" bolt and also to the strong cable loop in the other upper corner of the volleyball net. (We may also drill another hole at least 12 inches lower on the longer PVC pipe so we can lower the net to help our young grandchildren successfully get a ball over this lowered net!)When it's time for volleyball, we simply uncap that larger PVC 'base' pipe and then insert the longer PVC pipe (with the slightly smaller diameter) into the base and then hang up the net on both sides - takes 1 minute. We store the net and the long pole out of sight until needed. There are zero problems with this set-up and we've had loads of fun - with 5 year old players and with 6'3" volleyball players!

A pretty good net
Not professional grade but certainly better than other cheap nets. Looks like it will hold up for a couple seasons. I like the top cable that runs all the way through the net allowing it to be pulled taught. The net itself is 32 ft wide. Somehow, I got from the description that the "overall" width was 32' and I installed my uprights just over 32 ft. Not enough room to pull the net taught. Had to redo my uprights. Uprights should be 34' to 36' apart. The top cable and lower tie down have plenty of length to cover the wider uprights. Otherwise, good value for the price.

Good net very inexpensive
Later a whole summer. Got 2 pvc pipes n made a home made volleyball net for back yard use. Got some spray paint made the lines. Super cost effective n sturdy. Spent a total of 60ish bucks including ball net n homedepot supplies net looks n feels like it's worth 150$+ dyi done right can't beat it.

Good for backyard recreational use.
Destroyed my old one with an altercation between my tractor and the volleyball net. Tractor won.Bought this as a replacement. This net is perfectly fine for recreational use. I wouldn't use it in a gym where games are played all day every day as it just wouldn't take the abuse as it is relatively thin compared to the professional versions (like the one I destroyed). But consider the price! For the backyard, it's perfect. I expect it to last years.Unless the roll bar on my tractor has other ideas.....

For my own recreational use this was fine, but this is certainly not a top of ...
I bought this because I wanted an inexpensive volleyball net for the beach. It is a bit wider than I had expected, but does the job. Some of the netting had already broken when I got this and had been simply tied back together. It also came with a top cable, but not with any hardware to actually use a top cable. For my own recreational use this was fine, but this is certainly not a top of the line product.

What expected
Avid volleyball player. Good net for backyard play. Not top of the line, but great quality for the price. Serves its purpose. Would not buy for league play or for somewhere it is going to get hard use. Will definitely buy again when needed. The net is what is expected for this price.

Good price and OK quality.
Definitely worth the price I paid, but after 1 summer is showing signs of use and sun damage. You definitely are getting what you paid for, but if you want something that is going to last for more than a couple summers you might consider something more. If you want something less expensive to fill a need, this is what you want.

Great net
I am not a paid reviewer. We bought this net for volleyball but use it for badminton as well. It is quite wide and a great net. It is left outside all the time and has weathered well. I would buy it again.
