Well worth the money
Sharp drill. Cuts through aluminum like butter. Good product for a good price.

Very impressive
Drilled through 1/8 inch mild steel with ease, although I only drilled 2 holes.

A surprisingly capable stepper bit
Works well and swings way above it's weight. Inised to to drill what I thought was 1/4" mild steel, but what turned out to be 1/4" HARDENED steel and still managed to get it done with this bit

High Build Quality Excellent Bite on all metals
High Build Quality Excellent Bite on all metals. M2 HSS is a great mix of hardness without being too brittle. Worked for me on aluminum and A500-513 1/4" thick Steel!

Worth the money
I needed this to open the holes in my steel vehicle frame. I had opened 8 holes, no problem doing the job. Bought the step drill because I was unsure of how large I had to open them up to.

This bit is B.A.
This bit really cuts! I used it on 1/4 inch plate and it was like butter.

Does the Job Well and Lasts.
I used this tool to drill a 0.750 inch hole though some light-gauge aluminum. The hole was clean and burr free. I checked the sharpness of the tool after using it and it appears to be well constructed out of high-grade steel. Don't expect to use this to drill through 1/4 inch thick steel boiler plate because even the best drills would eventually dull under that kind of use. But for light jobs on aluminum, copper, or brass, this tool will hold up well. I would highly recommend drilling a 1/4 inch pilot hole first using a conventional drill and the job will go much faster and easier. These types of step drills work best to enlarge existing holes rather that drill though a blank metal plate. Just a small trick of the trade to give better and faster results. I would definitely buy this drill again.
