NuWave Flex Ceramic Precision Induction Electric, Induction, Single Burner Cooktop with 9-Inch Frying Pan

I have 3 larger nuwave induction in our house. Seldom use our propane stove top, just use the oven. We had 3 larger one years ago, donated them to thrift, got the 3 newer model. LOVE them. Then having one in the camper saw the really newer smaller flex. Got it for the camper. One of these days I will replace the 3 larger ones I have in the house with these smaller flex induction cooktops. I love induction cooking. The programable timer is great for starting the coffee, hearing it start while I rest in bed until it beeps done.

WARNING, UNSAFE!!! I have had mine replaced 3 times by Nuwave. The thermostats are horribly inaccurate and totally unsafe. You can incinerate anything at 250*. UNSAFE They have said I don't know how to run it and have refused to review the videos I have sent. 350* is normal frying temp. On 4 different units, I ran this test and all failed. With the pan nearly full of oil, I set the temp to 250* and monitored it with a digital laser thermometer. The temp climbed past 350* easily and continued to climb to over 400*. At that point, I shut it down since the oil may flash at 425. They told me they do not have a backup safety thermostat in these units. I fear they may be the cause of a fatal house fire at some point.
