Urban CoCoWomen's Basic Elastic Waist A-line Solid Flared Midi Skirt

Too much skirt for my body type..very nice material, I gave it 5 stars because it would be nice for someone with smaller waist.

I bought this in size XL for my 11 yr old daughter who is 5'1" and around 168lbs. It fits just below her knees and she wears it every week, so it must be one of the most comfortable skirts in her closet! (She has to wear a dress or skirt for school dress code, however, she even wore this skirt as part of her Halloween costume this year.) It is well made and has an elastic waist. The flare is really cute and has a 50's vibe and she usually pairs it with a sweater or a sweatshirt and boots - so A+ for versatility too! I wash it on a cold water cycle and hang to dry and it does not come out wrinkled.

I purchased the camel, which in the pictures is more of a beige. The thing I received was a cocoa brown - nowhere near even camel, let alone beige. It feels like a drapery sort of material, thick but rough. The waistband is horrendous, clearly huge strip of elastic in the same color. It's like something you'd find on a support bra. I didn't even try it on, huge disappointment as I really needed it.

I ordered two of these skirts for a costume party in two different sizes and found them true to size. On the plus side they seemed well-made were nice heavy-knit fabric and were very comfortable. I only returned them because the fit was a bit too flared, and the heavy fabric stood out a bit too much and made me look wider than I am. As a short 60-year-old grandmother with 20 extra pounds it wasn’t flattering on me. Somebody taller than I am or more slender this might work well for.

This is my favorite skirt because you can create so many different outfits and looks with it. It has a great stretch, is super comfortable, and is a nice classy length that feels suitable to wear to work and events. I wear cotton shorts underneath for comfort and warmth. You cannot tell that I am wearing shorts underneath because the material is thick.

I was so pleased with this skirt, I purchased another one as well. Just wish they came in more colors.

I will start this off by saying the quality of the skirt is fantastic! The material is great, it’s comfortable and I love how the skirt spins.I will say, however, that the sizing is pretty weird? Usually I’m a small-medium (29 in/ 73cm waist) and here it was listed that a 73cm waist was a large! I read the reviews saying that it was far too tight in the waist so I decided to go with a large since my measurements matched.I’m sad to say that the skirt is a bit big (I can cinch the waist with a baby pin and I’ll see it smaller eventually).Other than the confusion it’s genuinely a lovely skirt! I just wish the sizing made sense.

Too short; thought it was suppose to be mid calf.
