I wish a sturdy material that can last forever were used. Though its soft and ergonomically good, I wish they have used a better quality material, and perhaps a real leather on hand strap and the wrist lock. Also, I wish they will redesign how the wrist lock making it not going to unlock when the heavy camera slipped out of your hand, such as metal strap buckle making it impossible to strip off.

I bought a similar strap years ago for my Canon 70D and it’s seen years of great service with no problems. When I added a 5D Mk IV to the stable I wanted another but wasn’t able to find the previous one I’d ordered. Enter this one. Initially I wasn’t sure about the additional wrist encircling snap-on strap but it doesn’t impede use of the camera, fits well and is comfortable, and best of all it keeps my significantly more pricey 5D firmly attached to me. As a larger, heavier camera I definitely don’t want to inadvertently drop this one, and now I won’t. Fit & finish are fine, won’t know how durable it is but if problems arise in that area I’ll update the review. Installation was super easy too.

Give you more stability. Easy to carry your camera. Really Comfortable. Takes some dexterity to put on but fairly easy.

You must have some form of a split ring (circular one or a triangular that comes with most cameras to attach this to it. The bottom plate that fixes under the camera is not too big, but it's not small either. The loop to attach a secondary strap is pretty useful too. The small strap that secures the main strap to the wrist can be snapped off from both sides. So, you can take the camera off however you want. The only drawback is the, if you have the secondary strap secured to your arm, it's gonna take an extra second to free your hand / put away the camera and do anything else.But this is pretty sweet. Nice built quality and has nice feeling material.

I bought this because the neckstrap that comes with the camera is a pain in the... I use a tripod on occasion and with the neck strap someone walked by, caught the strap, and almost took my camera out! With this small hand strap that is a non-issue. I just don't like neckstraps in general. This is a great alternative when used in tandem with a hook on shoulder strap.
