I compared lots of alternatives before settling on this particular strap wrench, and I'm very happy with it. Very nicely built. Rubber strap has good grip and good conformity: it worked great for removing the slick handle shrouds on faucets without scratching them, even though they were really stuck. This replaces my previous strap wrench that had rubber coated nylon straps: that one didn't conform as well to conical parts, was more prone to scratching, and eventually dried out and lost its grip. This one is well made and the straps look like they will last longer. Highly recommended.

Performs as advertised

Just received this but I did use the 6” one today. I bought this because the plastic wrench that I use to remove my filter cartridge on my water softener broke. It’s easy to use & did the job great.

Slippery when wet. I got them to tighten the water line fittings on my pool. Would not hold because of the rubber on them doesn’t hold when using silicone sealant to seal the pool.

Left this in my cart along with a metal spanner .... Both would work for adjusting my motorcycle shocks but I forgot to remove one ..... Turns out THIS would work for numerous FIXES, the spanner is specific TO only shocks.... I'll be returning the other metal spanner.....Especially after finding out this is made in the USA *North Carolina..... And how they ALL need our support right now due to the failures of FEMA...... Solid material I'll be looking to purchase other tools made by this company!
