A little hard to put on the wall evenly, but other than that this is well worth the money. My kids love it!

I love this! I am painting the interior of my travel trailer and the ugly wood grain panels in the front of the refrigerator had to go. This was perfect! It's not chalky feeling and easy to clean so if you don’t use it as a chalkboard it still looks great. I didn’t even have to take the doors off. Just pop off the trim along the side with no hinge and slide ot the panel. Cut a piece of the chalkboard paper, stick it on, slide back in, and put the trim back. Five to ten minutes and looks awesome. I am going to sell this and my thinking was in a small space it would be a good place for bored kids to color or just write notes. I wrote on it and with a damp cloth it wiped completely clean with no trace of chalk. So easy to change if you don’t like it too.

Very disappointed with this product. Material is super thin and poor quality. Almost impossible to adhere because of flimsy material. Could not remove air bubbles and had to completely remove and throw away. I please note that this was not the first self adhesive blackboard product I have purchased, but by far the worst quality.

I love the chalk board and the ease of how to put it up, but when I bought it, there were some suggested liquid chalk markers and I bought them also. Now it will not come off my chalk wall, so it's ruined. I cannot erase it.

I was hesitant to buy this because the first and only review was so negative. I will agree that it is slightly difficult putting it up your self. It took me 10 minutes all together. The issue I had was the paper kept curling as I was trying to tape one end and make sure it was straight, but I did I figured it out! A positive thing is that it is not too sticky so you can easily peel it back up to realign, or take out any wrinkles/air bubbles. The best part is it does not lift off any paint while doing this! Finally, I bought a 24 pack of chalk from Michaels craft store for $1.50, and also not high quality, it writes fairly well. I am very pleased with my purchase and highly recommend this if you are looking for a larger chalkboard for a great price!

After doing quite a bit of research I discovered this blackboard contact paper would be better than painting a surface with chalkboard paint, because chalk markers leave "ghosting" on the paint and the paper is easier to clean. I used this on a plastic surface and also on wood. WAY Easier to put on a hard wood surface than plastic, because of air bubbles alone! I gave only 4 stars because when applying you need to make sure you have a plastic scrapper to work out the air bubbles and this adhesive paper is very thin, thus it stretches too easily and when using regular chalk it scratches very easily too. It you stick with chalk markers, you'll be good. Being thin is the only down side I found. It really does remind me of cabinet liner and has a convenient square graphing on the back side for cutting straight lines which is great.

It didn't come with any instructions for wall prep or application and I guess we did it wrong because it fell down, even with us trying repeatedly to help it stay up by smoothing out the air bubbles that kept forming and taping down the corners. Maybe because my walls have a decent amount of texture under the paint? It was nice and big and would've been perfect for my son's room.

I purchased the large size (36x78") and placed it on a wall made of standard drywall, covered with an eggshell finish paint. I am very happy with my purchase so far (will update review if anything changes) .Install is a breeze, if you use a laser level and a squeegee. I had this up, by myself, with 2 small kids "helping" in about 15 minutes. Start by laying a laser level line at the bottom (or top, if you have a helper) and unroll about 12" of adhesive paper at a time. Smooth from top to bottom with one hand as you move along. Use a squeegee to remove bubbles at the end.Now, some have said they have issues with bubbles. I think it must depend on the surface you're using. For me, the only issue is how the blackboard paper shows all the tiny flaws in the wall's surface. In my 2nd photo, the blemishes shown are all tiny pits and bumps in my wall, not a fault of the blackboard sticker.
