Ecovacs Deebot N7 Model DN12This vac cleans well, is fast, fairly quiet and entertaining! Doesn’t bother my 7 year old golden retriever who hated the central vac noise. At first my rating went up and down as I saw what this could do and then had problems, which all have been resolved. Initially it seemed to clog often and I had to clean it frequently. This was probably because it cleaned where no vac had gone before. After the first two cleanings, things improved, now it can complete an entire cleaning cycle before it returns to the charging dock and needs attention. Cleaning is simple: remove dust bin and dump, brush off dust filter, then turn it over (she always complains “I am suspended”) remove rotary brush and snip off dog hairs which have wrapped neatly around the brush in two designated spots. Takes two minutes and she’s ready to go.The lidar maps the room, but it took a few tries the first time. Don’t give up. Once she learns the map things get really smooth. Vacuums over a fluffy bath rug. My floor is hardwood, area rugs, some carpeted areas and tile. It only occasionally gets stuck under a chair that I has legs spaced exactly the diameter of the unit. She will “find” things left under a bed and likes to eat usb cables, but mostly nothing causes any problems.Today I had her vacuum the lower level again after about a month and she completed the entire cycle in one run. On the main level she usually needs to recharge before automatically completing the run – 625 square feet according to her.She will get herself stuck in a small bathroom when she nudges the door against a hinge closer that cause the door to spring back. She maps the cleaning path and while usually a rectilinear pattern, recently she has done some diagonal cleaning! Its fascinating to look at the cleaning path as it snakes around the 5 legs of an office chair and wanders under tables and beds.One other problem: The vacuum starts cleaning automatically after a power failure, so if you’re not home, you may find her stuck somewhere or still cleaning when you return if the power came back on.Mopping: Tried it a couple of times but its just wiping with water. A number of disposable pads are included but I haven’t used it that much. Sometimes the pad works loose. Automatically avoids carpets.Price: a great vac in the $300 range. No need to spend more unless you want automatic bin emptying. In my case, I must snip off the dog hair anyway and dumping the bin takes 20 seconds.The app is great and works well. She can notify you if she gets stuck, etc.I’m still giving 5 stars since I don’t vacuum anymore. Oops got to go. I left a sock on the floor….

Vacuum and mopping ability is fine. It gets stuck somewhere every single time. Erases the map every single time. As you can see it even goes right into the zones you block it from. Once stuck, you move it and it forgets its entire route so has to restart, but the battery drains before it can finish. It's not able to find its own dock to recharge 100% of the time (seriously, I've run it about 20 times and it's docked itself 0 of them).This is my second Deebot will be my last. Plenty of other brands that are doing better. Sorry.

The back piece that holds the water for the mopping feature just falls out of my machine/won’t stay clipped in. However, I don’t intend to use the mop feature as I have laminate flooring. The vacuum part is excellent!! It tells me what the problem is (if one is encountered) instead of having to google the user guide every time. It clears obstacles easily. Despite no mopping, I’m very happy with this purchase.

Oh my goodness! I was hesitant on getting this as I’ve just heard some back and forth comments on these type of vacuums, but the reviews seemed promising (except that it may break ins couple of years..). I’ve only had it one day and already SO glad I got this!So, I don’t read instructions fully before set up and has put the mop cloth on and set it up in carpet, which made me think it was broken because it didn’t move. Then I moved it to the kitchen, and it mopped my kitchen and connected bathroom, but didn’t move to rooms because of the carpet. This made me think it was broken.But once I took off the cloth, it went through the whole apartment! I have a 1 year old and low furniture, so we had some mishaps and had to move the vacuum which messed up the mapping. And since the map was messed up, I restarted the clean job a few times. Every time I restarted, I clean out the dustpan. So over all there was 4 jobs done, the last job was after I put my baby to bed and made sure everything was picked up so that only furniture legs were touching the ground. And it picked up so much! I didn’t even realize my carpet was sooooo dirty!! One of the runs was on max+ suction power, but the rest was just on standard. It goes against the walls very well.I have a 2 bedroom apartment and it had to recharge at about 2/3 of the way through. It was at about 50 minute run time I believe, and the full job took 73 minutes.The only con I have is the size. It was too wide to go between some of my chair’s legs. And it gets snagged under my couch due to the “antenna“ thing on top of it.I so recommend this vacuum. Definitely if you have kids and just don’t have enough hours in the day to take care of them, work, and clean! Now I need a robot to do my dishes…. And cook!

I am so impressed of the high quality and great options of this vac robot so far working great too worth it %100 both function working great and you have full control over the app easy installation and easy playing around the voice is women and taking to you if there is any concern or issue, love it so far and definitely recommended to buy it compare to the similar hybrid mode with higher price.

Product is literal garbage. It gets stuck on anything you can imagine. It got stuck between the scale in my bathroom and the vanity. It got sick in the corner of my toilet and the wall. It also got stuck on shoes at my front landing. Legit a garbage product. Do not buy it.

The media could not be loaded. UPDATE:The customer service is incredible. After reading my review, the company sent me a brand new unit to try again and keep at zero cost to me.I found the wheel housing to be sharp on this new unit, but my husband filed it down a bit to smooth it out. I’m impressed. I’ve never had a company do anything like this for me before. Therefore I’m changing my review to 4 stars.I only used this a couple of times until I noticed it was chipping the tile flooring where it transitions from the hardwood to the tile. The part that surrounds the front wheel is very sharp and I’m positive this is what caused the damage. This is not a cheep fix and I’m not happy at all. The vacuum itself is pretty good although the dust bin compartment is small and opens at an awkward angle for emptying. I didn’t even try the mapping. The run time seems to be good. The mopping isn’t that great, doesn’t seem to get wet enough unlike my previous robot vac. Given the damage it caused, I have to give it 1 star. I’ve never had a robot vac do this before.I do have med to long pile carpet, not shag long, but it’s quite thick. This vacuum did well on it unlike an older model I have. But unfortunately I can’t justify keeping this mopping vacuum to use only for the rooms that have carpet as it isn’t cost efficient and I’m sure their are better options out there for that.It also got a little glitchy and kept doing one spot over & over.

I really like his robot vacuum. It is intelligent and goes around my place in an orderly way and cleans up really well. Has made my life so much easier. The app is simple and well designed. Highly recommend
