They tell you to use alcohol to clean your piercing. I have professional piercings and you use a salt water combo to clean your piercing, so please for your sake don't use alcohol to clean it. Using my saline bath and there is no pain.

I’ve had my nose pieced 3 times “1st time I had the hole for a year my ring fell out and it closed before I could put it back in” “Second time I had a bad reaction to the piercing and had to take it out”. Twice by piercers and this 3rd time by myself with this self piercing device. I highly recommend trying this first. You will save 55 bucks and a tip and this hurts wayyy less than when I got it at the shops.I’m very happy with the results.

This was SO easy! It definitely pinched but it didnt hurt near as bad as I thought. No tears in the eyes or anything. And i had to do it twice. 🤦‍♀️I tried once and it went all the way through and it clicked but the end didnt bend so it came right back out. Im actually glad because when I squeezed the point moved upwards because it does move around a bit. It would have been too high.I cleaned everything with alcohol, waited a few minutes and did it again. The second time I squeezed until it clicked, and then squeezed harder and it clicked again. That time I was slower to find the dot I made, and made sure it bent on the second click.I am loving it so far! It seems slightly long but thats probably good in case you have some swelling, or have a thicker nose than me.I know guns are a no no, but this was super sharp and quick and almost painless. I would totally do it again.

Bought this product like 5 times not because I didn’t like it or didn’t work I just bought to try to re pierce a side of my nose to be even with the other and I haven’t got it perfect yet…only issue about this product is that it doesn’t smoothly push together kinda cranks and sticks hard to line up to make straight also it says to push hard to fold the sharp part but that doesn’t always work and a couple times it flew out and I had to shove it through myself but great for the price ….and I know how to pierce I have 14 piercing and I did a lot of them myself

The size is perfect. I have been piercing my own ears with the Amazon blue Piercing gun but this does it come with that for ginormous compared to my nose so I bought this. It really was painless no blood my eyes didn’t even water. I may add another when this one heals.Update- I had to do more! 2 on each side so cute!!

So, I just pierced my nose 10 mins ago. After reading all the reviews and helpful advice from others here (thank you!!) and googling proper placement, I decided to go for it!!I had also swabbed the inside of my nostril with alcohol as well, don’t forget to do that. Lined it up after I placed a dot of where I wanted it and did it. Press hard. It wasn’t nearly as bad as I thought it would be and was over in a second. Minimal pain- it felt like when I get a shot. Now it barely feels sore. It clicked and fell apart once I pushed it as far as it would go. Did it bend? I’m not sure. I see a curve on the post so maybe it did? It’s hard to see up my nose.All in all, I pierced my nostril with a needle by hand 21 years ago and this was tons easier. 10/10 would recommend, lol.

Super easy too use and almost painless. However, it is really easy to pull out the stud. Mine came out while washing me face but I was able to put a regular earring stud in to allow for more healing. After 4 weeks I just ordered some 20g nose studs and switched them out.

It worked good don't hesitate take a deep breath and pull the trigger. This is the second time I've pierce my own nose, and it always works well but I seem to always have a problem with the jewelry falling out you pierce it with this tiny stud and after the swelling goes down I guess it was loose and it just fell out in my sleep I'm gonna try it again because I really like the way it looked but I guess just be conscious of loose jewelry when the swelling goes down
