Easy to set up

Work great!
I have 12 of these installed into wall lights and control through the Wiz app and/or Alexa. I like the fact that using the Wiz app you can adjust the total brightness of the bulb. No complaints so far

Didn't work
The bulb arrived and when I went to set it up it didn't work. Tried it in more than one lamp and it wouldn't light up or allow me to connect it to my wiz app. Sent straight back

Beware: Not Matter compatible from ncc-design
The German company that is selling these for £6 and charging delivery to the UK ncc-design is NOT sending out the bulbs pictured (which are in the new packaging) and they are not Matter compatible (they are pre 2021 stock that cannot be updated to work with Matter). I have wasted money twice with them and returning is too much of a hassle. Just beware if this is why you’re buying.

Game changer!
I recently caved and bought a ring doorbell camera and echo dot. Then decided to buy this for my living room lamp.Wow! I love it. Previously I was getting dog’s abuse in the evening when I turned off the light at bedtime (genuinely dog’s abuse! My dog was barking madly at me when I reached over and switched the light off - apparently she wants to stay up later than me!).Now when I’m heading off to brush my teeth I say “Alexa switch the light off in 10 minutes”. I have it set to go off over 5 seconds - so it’s a gentle dimming then off. Brilliant!I live being able to tell Alexa to “ dim the light” or “make light brighter” when needed. It’s also really handy to set the light to come on/off etc.A few time it’s not been able to connect - so I can’t praise 100% reliability (in those incidences I’ve had to manually switch the light in and off a few times to reset it - this may be a problem with WiFi signal??).With all this in mind I would still recommend it - a great and very useful gadget!
