Fortune Telling Using Playing Cards....
Good for what it is...an intuitive guide for using playing cards instead of tarot. If one wishes to try this, a book like this explains what the symbols on the playing cards mean. My great-grandmother used to do this for fun and was good at it...I thought I would see what this was all about.

Love this little book
Love this little book. So chock full of info on cartomancy. From using the whole deck or doing the Romany (Gypsy) or Lenormand way. I am a Lenormand reader, so did not delve too deep into that section. If you have "Le Jeu du Destin Antique" or any similar 32 card gypsy deck, it will be immensely helpful in discovering the playing suit meanings. It is also helpful, to a degree, with the suits on the Vera Sibilla.I've bought a large jumbo pack of playing cards as my study cards and have wrote all over them with keywords and phrases. For actual readings, a plain deck of Bicycle cards should do, but I decided to get the Medieval deck from Elephant Playing Cards. Not only is it beautiful but is one-ended so that, when reading with 32 cards, true reversals show up.Great intro to playing card cartomancy. Definitely recommend.

Very good
I am enjoying learning fortune telling with ordinary playing cards. Great information and explanation for each card, suits, combinations and spreads. Very easy to read and understand. I'm glad I bought it, it has been very helpful.

It's just the RWS tarot minors.
"What if you read playing cards exactly like you read the minor suits of the Rider-Waite-Smith tarot system?"I am sure that question and premise is interesting to some and is exactly what they're looking and hoping for, but for someone who already knows the tarot and was wanting to learn the playing card tradition specifically, it was a miss.

Great guide for novice readers!
My sister bought this for me and I just had to get a digital copy as well. She loves reading tarot cards, but I wanted to learn how to do it using a playing card deck. It was very hard finding reliable information on how to do so on the internet, but this book answered all my questions.
