The tag was very thin and looks like the engraving would rub off easier. So far it is ok, but we don't have our collar on our dog everyday.

I have the engraved tags for my two older dogs and they have done very well for us, we still have them and they look just as nice as the day we bought them. We got a new puppy this last Thursday and that is the same day these arrived so the timing was perfect. When I opened these I first noticed these are printed on and not engraved and that they are not scratch proof. So if they are scratched up you will need new ones. Also the attachment piece is very flimsy and I could not get the tag to stay on while using it, it just kept pulling right off, the necklace piece was way too big for the puppy and the ring that came with that wouldn't properly fit in the hole so I could just use that to keep the tag on. Also one tag you receive has all the information and everything you want to put but you don't get to pick a duplicate of that, you get one i.d. tag and one picture tag. I don't really have a use for the picture tag so that was useless to me. I would probably stick with the engraved tags over these. I received this product at a discount in exchange for an honest review. It pains me to leave critical reviews, but this was not a good shopping experience. The main tag came with a necklace like hook that was of poor quality and fell apart in shipment. Then a blank red star. The printing on the tag wasn't very clear and it didn't look very nice or easy to read as it should be for a pet tag. If you've ever tried to catch someone's loose pet sometimes they panic and you have a very small window to read the tag so visibility is important. Especially if you have a pet that you don't want to make a stop at the local shelter if the un thinkable ever happened and they were to get out. This tag is neither aesthetically pleasing nor is it of great quality. If i was tag shopping I'd skip it to be honest.

I am really impressed with this pet tag. It is made from a really nice shiny metal and the name was laser printed in gold on the black back ground. It is really nice. I was expecting a tag equivalent to what I would find at a pet store kiosk, but this one is much better. The second tag just has a picture on it and is aluminum. It isn't as nice as the black tag but it can still be engraved and used as a pet tag. The set also came with a nice thin black rope to make a necklaces with and a very nice key ring with a tiny bell. I used the ring with the bell for my cats collar. I don't need the necklace but it's still nice and I may use it at some point. I may have to buy another tag just to make a necklace out of.I did purchase this tag at a discount for my honest review. I for sure give this a 5 star review. The tag is very very nice. I could see it being used for many things other than a pet tag.
