Kitchen Zone Bamboo Pizza Peel, Durable Wooden Pizza Board with Handle to Use as Serving Tray, Cutting Board

I really like the size and thickness of this pizza cutting board. However, when I washed the board before the first use there were little hair like pieces of the bamboo all over the board. Not wanting the pieces to get into the food, I scrubbed the board thoroughly several times to get the pieces off then oiled the board with a lite coat of vegetable oil. Used it for the first time this week and it makes cutting pizzas so much easier. I will be using it to cut quesadillas as well. Very happy, so far, with my purchase.

The only problem with this board is that the front edge is not a sharp wedge- instead it is beveled from both sides and it make it difficult to pick a pizza out of the oven cleanly

After about 3 months of use it's starting to split apart.

The size was smaller than our first peel, but that was an error on our part, not checking sizes.

Easy to get pizza out of the oven.

I love it great for pizza or anything else and it is light and durable.

This board was touted in its heading that it is 17". By any other standard one would assume that it is ideal for large pizzas. It is, in fact, only 12". The measurement of 17" is from the handle to the front and the width is only 12". This is misleading!. I could have bought one just like it for much cheaper is I really wanted a 12" board. I wanted a REAL 17" board not a 12" board.

My pizza slide off nicely into my pizza oven, I used a good amount of semolina flour below it. Easily wiped clean. These are sturdy but not crazy heavy. I didn't cut my pizza on them though...I want to keep the looking new as long as I can! The short handle is great as it doesn't take up too much room, and I'm only dropping pizza into my bbq top oven. A bit pricey, but quality product.

The handle on this peel is very uncomfortable in your hand. its too short. This could have been a winner except for the poor handle design.

Looks good and works pretty well for its purpose. Be sure to let it dry very well before putting away, either in the sun or a dry airy place. Otherwise it will grow mold. I don’t dare to put this in the dishwasher.

Could be a tad but larger but this is a great product. Quality, beautiful and works great.
