It has a high chance of failure just by mixing the two genres and the fact that it's an extreme turn from Metal Gears norm, but hey, it could also be pretty fun. I'm giving it a chance.

This has nothing to do with The Phantom Pain, or really Metal Gear in general. It is essentially a cheap mod for MGS 5 where generic characters are sucked through a wormhole to a land of headless zombies (yes, really).

Q: Can this community get any more toxic over a spin off game that is actually really fun? Accept that different genres of games exist?

I played the beta. It's actually a fun game. Already pre-order.
