I only use belkin!
I have multiple of these hubs I only use belkin because I know they work with the same level of reliability as genuine apple products. The design works perfect, accepting power form the USB c to charge and power the hub, which can be a very important feature.

It works!
Using this with my M1 MacBook Pro 13 inch, that only supports one external display. I attached two displays and use my laptop as the third. I’ve been using it for over a month now. This is actually more stable than a single display connected directly to my MacBook. With that configuration I would often lose the external monitor and I need to unplug and replug the display cable to get it to turn back on. I have not had that problem once with this device.

Works perfectly for tablet!
Streaming Modern Warfare 2 from my desktop via Steam Link on my tablet through Ethernet on max settings.Between that and the SD port and other USB ports, this thing works perfectly. I just need a spare monitor to connect it to with the device's HDMI port. Just make sure you have the right kind of wall adapter or it will not work. Amazon actually has a very good 65w one that I would recommend too.

Works very well. Gets very hot
I actually love this device. I primarily wanted something to plug my wired internet cable into my MacBook Pro and maybe get a few USB ports that were not USB-C. The SD card port, power and HDMI were gravy. I liked it so much that I bought one for my husband who likes to use a desktop screen with his MacBook Air sometimes. He quickly found use for all the ports, except maybe the SD port. All ports work as they should. My one complaint is the device can get very hot when it's in use. The more ports you use, the hotter it gets. I stopped using the power port because I'm worried the extra heat will burn it out and maybe even damage my Mac. My husband continues to occasionally use the power port. His MacBook is smaller and he can fit the hub on the cooling pad - which helps the heating. My MacBook is bigger so there's no room on the cooling pad when I'm at my desk. I prop mine up on the edge of the desk to allow it air circulation all around to cool it. It still gets pretty warm and I would not leave it plugged into the computer if I'm away for more than an hour or so.

Quality and compact
Nice quality and compact, useful assortment of port types for use with MacBook Air M1. Smaller than expected but that is not a negative. Would prefer another USB A port, but difficult to make a product to appease everyone. Have had several solid quality Belkin products over the years. Given their track record including this device, will definitely look to them first.
