Omg the cuteness is ridiculous!!!!
Keurig could take a lesson…this is beyond adorbs!! The color and design are perfect! It’s also very light weight so I suppose you could move it around and maybe travel with it or leave it in your office. The ember function is a nice way to heat/froth the coffee in a slow way so that the flavor is richer. When I say slow, it takes like 3 seconds longer than the regular button. The machine is super fast overall..it’s just a few seconds to make a couple of servings of coffee. I mean it’s really fast! The brew pot is really easy to rinse and wipe out. I’d say do NOT use a metal anything in it however bc you’ll remove the Teflon-like coating that makes it slippery. For the greenies—I don’t know what makes the metal so slickery—if it’s Teflon or a safer situation, so I can’t say 100% it’s ‘safe’ and whatever…but for me, I’m not worried…I’d more likely get run over by a bus than die by Teflon poisoning so I’ll take my chances…I’m not into the coffee flavor however. I hadn’t had Turkish coffee for ages..and the last time was from the authentic pot-in-sand situation. I think the coffee I bought just isn’t my bag. I prefer black coffee, and the medium brown Arabica doesn’t do it for me. I’m going to try other super fine grinds and see if I like them better. I’m a huge fan of Lavazza so I’m going to try their dark roast fine ground espresso and see if that works for me.I think though, if u like Turkish coffee, this is an absolutely amazing incredible machine!!!! I can’t get over how fast and quiet it is!!! It makes my Keurig look prehistoric. I love the design and easy clean, so I’d rank this a 5 out of 5 stars! Now to find a coffee I want to make on in it…lol

This Thing Really Works!
I am an utter failure at making a decent cup of Turkish coffee in the traditional "briki", but I love a good cup of Turkish coffee. I received this machine about a week ago, and have used it two or three times a day and so far, I am really happy with it. It's nicely made, with a heavy-duty three pronged plug. It arrived very carefully and securely packaged. Here is my experience --yours may vary:1. Do not tempt the Overflow Monster and try to make three or four cups unless your cups are very tiny--making a double brings the water level close to the max line on the inside of the pot.2. For richest flavor, I increased the amount of coffee per cup from a level spoon (comes with the unit) to one heaping spoon per cup.3. Stir the water, coffee, and sweetener well until smooth and blended before cooking.4. The "ember" function takes more time to cook the coffee, and results in a richer flavor, but the whole process is still very fast.5. A quick wash and rinse of the inside of the pot with a small amount of dish soap and hot water cleans it easily, but do not immerse the pot or pour water over the bottom element.6. Tasty and foamy results!

Mine works wonderfully
Very pleased with this Turkish coffee maker. Read a lot of the reviews on here, before buying. The one thing I see that’s pretty consistent is the possible overflow when making the 3-4 cup option. I’ve yet to try it, since I’ve only needed to make 2 cups at a time. That being said, when the coffee reaches a certain tempt, it rises up several inches, before falling back down. So I could see how 4 cups worth would likely be too much. 3 cups may be fine, though.Anyway, the machine is super simple to use. Literally you just hit a button; two buttons if you’re feeling fancy (ember function). If you do the ember function, make sure to hold down on it for a second or so, so that it locks on. My first couple cups I didn’t notice that I wasn’t actually activating it.I haven’t had Greek/Turkish coffee cooked over sand, yet- can’t speak for that in comparison. I have had Greek/Turkish coffee prepared on a gas stove with the little Turkish pot, though. I get it every time we go to Savannah. I feel like this coffee maker does a pretty great job getting that style down.

Look what happened after 4 weeks
Let me clarify,You never can make 2 cups (real cup=mug) of coffee with this device to drink with your friends. What the product headline means by 4 cups is 4 tiny cultural Turkish cups. 4 of them barely make a 1 mug. So, you can make a maximum of 1 mug of coffee with this device! You might say, ''It's your mistake. Turkish coffee should be drunk by those little cultural cups.'' Well, look at the 4th picture of the product. That picture is totally a lie! Because there is a ''max limit'' line for the water in the coffee maker cup. That line in real is literally much much lower than that picture. You can never put that amount of water in the machine cup. That picture is totally deceptive. You can put barely half as much coffee as that picture shows. I mean, I didn't try to put more yet. But this is the rule that user guideline mandates.Except for this issue, it was a good experience for the first use. I'll update the review as long as I use it in the long run.Update 2: Look at the pictures to see what happened after 4 weeks. My return due is passed. I'll see whether the warrant process will be taking place!

I love this and use this daily
After trying Turkish coffee for the first time, I was hooked. I searched for an automatic Turkish coffee maker and found this. This coffee maker is pretty simple to use. It has a small and regular serving button and it beeps after it is done. I always rinse and clean the spout pot after pouring out the coffee into my mug. I tried various ratios and I am now sticking to the room temperature water at max level and using only two table spoons of Kurukahveci Mehmet Efendi coffee. I also use two Splenda packets and stopped using sugar. Always mix the coffee and sweetener/sugar in the spout pot with a spoon until it is dissolved prior to turning on the unit.I also discovered that you can buy replacement spout pots for twelve dollars delivered from the company direct. They are located in Irvine CA.

Great Turkish coffee maker
This makes a great cup of Turk Kahvesi! I wish it worked the same as the ones I used in Turkey, where the maker poured it blended, but that’s a small complaint. Would recommend.
