OtterBox Commuter Series Case for Google Pixel 4a 5G (5G ONLY, not Compatible with 1st gen Pixel 4a) - Black

I bought this for my tablet and was surprised to see that it folded in different ways to allow the tablet to be viewed in different configurations. It seemed expensive when I bought it, but it really is worth the extra money.

Durable

When you spend several hundred dollars on your phone you should be protecting it with this case. I have ran over my phone with my Yukon, tractor, wheelbarrow and left it outside one night in a light sprinkle. This case protected my phone through it all.

Best phone case I've found for the Google Pixel 4a 5G, and for a very decent price. It's sturdy and has helped my phone survive numerous drops. I've bought this case 3 times, each one has lasted about a year before needing to be replaced. The rubber part over the charging port has broken pretty quickly each time, since you need to open it every time you want to charge your phone. One of the cases was delivered with the rubber part that surrounds the screen already ripped, but the other two were in perfect condition when they arrived. The case does a good job of protecting the screen, but I'd still recommend getting a separate screen protector with it.

I love this case it's currently on my phone right now. I also like that the back isn't really textured it's flat and smooth so that I could put a popsocket on it.

A couple of years ago I dropped my almost new phone, before I had even heard of these. From ONE drop from just hip high, it shattered the screen and slowly stopped working over two days. It hit on it's corner which is the weak spot. It cost over $150 to get it repaired. My adult son gave me an Otterbox for Christmas, for my repaired phone. Well, I've dropped it again, at least a dozen times since I put the Otterbox on, (I'm a senior and my fingers occasionally relax too much, unintentionally,) and it is totally protected by the Otterbox! Love it!

I purchased the first one in 2021 and just now had to replace. I would choose or trust another phone case for my phone. The grip is comfortable, the functional covers help protect the charging/data port, and is an overall nice looking, protective case.

This is an excellent case. I though I would hate it, but bought it begrudgingly anyway since I have broken my phone too many times. I'm not sure why I had such a bad attitude before. You get used to the added chunk very quickly and then it just disappears in your pocket like the last one. The flip up USB door is fantastic. I have not needed to clean my phone out like I did before.
