I love this shelf. It is as useful and stylish as it is simple. It comes with seven boards, enough screws +1, and even its own screwdriver, which I was a little surprised to find came with it. The picture instruction are numbered and super easy to follow; they just show which sized board with the correct number of pre-drilled holes to attach to the other, so as long as you can operate a screwdriver, really simple!My favorite feature of this shelf is that it's adjustable in length, angle, shape, etc. The size is also perfect for a table/desk top. The wood is nicely treated, though it looks like it would be just as nice if it were painted, too, but it's definitely not necessary.Final words; I am not at all disappointed with this purchase. For me, it was a great buy!(For overall size comparison, it is on a bedside table in the attached pictures)

It seemed like ages that I was searching for a freestanding spice rack that could handle around 36 herbs and spices of different sizes as well as bottles of oil, baking soda you name it. These had been cluttering up the only bench next to my oven, reducing my space for handling dishes. This unit is solid enough, stable and looks great presenting an array of herbs on a Crate and Barrel maple kitchen table, leaving plenty of room for food preparation and entirely freeing up my beside the stove space. It can be used as I have in the kitchen or the bedroom, bathroom or living room. Good value and super easy to assemble.

This little shelf is a very cute and creative solution for more desk top storage. Carefully packaged, arrived quickly, and instructions were clear and easy to follow. Went together quickly. Each piece was labeled in the diagram; the screw holes were all aligned and drilled through. Even included some pre-drilled space for counter-sinking the screw heads. Comes with a sturdy Phillips-head screwdriver. Good screws--didn't strip. Two downsides, the reasons for 4 stars: the finish quality is not great and you will need to be careful with it. Mine came with a chip in the veneer. No big deal, but noticeable. Also, the finish color has slight variation from piece to piece. The other thing is those super shiny silver screws--they really show up. I haven't figured out how to cover those yet. All in all, I can't complain though. It was an inexpensive shelf but very sturdy once assembled. I would give it 4 1/2 stars if I could figure out how to do that.

I needed a small shelf for my vanity desk and didn’t want to have to get one of those bulky white mirrored things. I wanted something that would match the desk I already have so I bought this.Upon opening the package I was super surprised because there was a screwdriver IN the box! Not another Allen wrench but a legitimate screwdriver. I would have spent probably a good 10 minutes looking for one if it wasn’t for MyGift’s pre-planning and I am so grateful that they had the foresight to think “we’re giving them screws, we should give them a screwdriver too”It was very easy to put together, matches my current desk, and is compact enough that I have plenty of room to fit my laptop on my desk too. I would recommend this to anyone looking for a small shelf.

Really like that you can rearrange this shelf in a couple of ways. I painted ours to match the desk and it painted well.

I'm torn between 2 and 3 stars. It is adjustable. It is definitely "desk sized" (e.g. smaller than what it looks in the picture, and you're slightly disappointed even though you read the measurements and felt like you knew what it was going to look like.)It is too adjustable; it keeps falling apart due to the weight of my books. Yes you can adjust it this way and that way, but how are you gonna lock it like that so the one piece doesn't slide off the other? And how are you going to secure the shelves to your desk so the shelves themselves don't slide on your desk due to the weight? Now, I didn't have to worry about this when I wasn't actively using the storage - when it was just used for "display purpose only" and wasn't touched, but when I started taking books on and off the shelf and thus moving the weight around, it became a big issue.Not because of the assembly instructions (standard IK*A picture only assembly instructions) - because I put it together in a few minutes. I bought these because it seemed like an easy, attractive storage solution for my desk, but you need to figure out how to make it secure. Now I gotta glue to the 2 pieces together and velcro the whole thing to my desk to prevent shocking my officemates from the tumbles and falls of my books off of it when I take one book out, and the whole thing hitting the floor. Also, I think it's more expensive than what it should be, though I understand it is real wood, with a nice finish.

I bought this shelf for my son's dorm room because we needed something compact for his desk. Considering the price was much lower than anything else I could find, I expected it to be flimsy and wobbly but was hoping that it would last for his first year. I had no need to worry, though, because this thing is seriously solid! I have no doubt that he will still be using it through grad school. It's solid wood and you assemble it with wood screws into pre-drilled holes. They even sent a screwdriver. I used my own screwdriver with a more comfortable handle but the included one would have worked just fine. It's the perfect size for a dorm desk and can be configured to fit just about everywhere. I'm considering ordering another for my craft room desk.

When you build it, it ends up being two separate pieces that rest on the other. This made it great as you can expand it to meet your needs! Wood is thinner than expected but seems pretty sturdy. Great item for desk organization!

Me parece útil y considero que por el precio lo que recibes es muy bueno, el armado es fácil y te dan un desarmador de baja calidad pero se agradece que lo hagan.
