Amazing light bar for the budget
Amazing light bar for around the $40 range. I've had this for 11 months now and it's been great for lighting up my desk and the immediate vicinity. I have two widescreen monitors stacked and placed the light bar on the top monitor. Top of my monitor is about 27in/68.5cm long and the light bar is 17 3/4in/45cm. My desk is around 53in/135cm wide and I can say if you have a wider desk you'll be fine with this. I forgot how long the cable is so I can't say much about the length since it's tucked away. The two things I can talk about are the touch buttons and light bar itself.Touch buttonsThere are 3 buttons, brightness, color mode, power. The light can be dimmed down by holding it down to go down/up. However when it is dimmed I can hear low pitch noise that is annoying over time. Luckily I never had to dim. The color modes are cool, warm, and mix. I like cool when it's day time and warm for nights. Never used mixed. Power button powers it on/off. Just that unless you got a broken one. Only issue I have with the buttons is that, and it may just be me, sometimes I have to firmly touch them or hold the bar which cause it to move. Oh they also have a dim light when the bar is off. The power button is dimmer compared to the other two but visible to see in the dark.Light barMy top monitor is tilted toward and it is still staying there. Only fell when I was trying to get use to the buttons. Other than that the head has dropped over time so I have to adjust the angle. Minor thing that doesn't bother me but may others.Overall it's a good budget light bar that has served it's prupose. 3 touch buttons with 3 color modes, and stays on the monitor. Hope this helps someone and I should go to bed. Why did I decide to review this now?

Take a minute to truly familiarize yourself to the operation of this lamp.
I had been looking for a solution to light the immediate space in front of my computer when I discovered monitor light bars. However the first ones I saw ran $100 which I didn't want to spend and I was concerned that the lesser expensive lights I found may not be quality items. But I read the reviews and decided on giving the Baseus lamp a go. When it arrived I was immediately impressed with the quality of packaging. I felt that was an indication that the manufacturer had pride in their product. However at first I wasn't able to open the clamping device to mount it to the monitor. But I realized that it sat on my porch in extremely cold weather possibly tightening the dampened clamp. So I let it warm up a bit and held it in the palm of my hand and soon the clamp became movable. However once it was attached I wasn't able to rotate the light so it wouldn't shine in my eyes. That would have been a deal breaker. But a quick review of the manual and I saw it was the lamp could be rotated. Again, I figured the cold weather tightened the adjustments and upon a second attempt a few minutes later I could indeed rotate the light so it didn't shine into my eyes. So, just a heads up if you receive this lamp during cold weather. The color of the light is adjustable as is the brightness, which can be fairly intense so I have mine set to a lower level. I'll experiment with color to to where it won't affect my color adjustments on my editing. On my iMac, centering the light on the monitor blocks the monitor camera so that if you use the camera for Zooms you may wish to slide it to the side or remove it. Or perhaps you could light your face during a zoom with it. I haven't tried that.Overall I'm very pleased with the Baseus lamp. After seeing this style of lamp at 3 times the price, I appreciate the quality of the product, its value and performance.

Baseus Sent Me a Replacement Light
Original 1 Star Review: Do not buy this product if you value quality for your hard earned money and customer support for which there is none. I have owned the monitor lamp for less than a year and it will not stay on for more than a minute at a time. I have to repeatedly push the button to turn it back on which is so annoying and totally interrupts my work flow. Ascetically, I really like the lamp but looks only help you get in the door but can't keep you on the job. I realize sometimes things happen and QC can be lacking so I reached out to Baseus via email to see if they would either replace my lamp, fix it or send me my money back. Baseus has yet to respond to me even after providing them with all the information they required like purchase date, item number and Amazon purchase confirmation number etc... This is not good business and it will be their downfall. For now, I am left with a big black heavy paperweight...very disappointed!Update (March 2022): Perhaps after reading my initial review about the lamp being a paperweight and no one from CS contacting me, Baseus finally reached out and made it right by sending me out a new desk light. The light is working as it should now. No flickering issues or solo shut offs. My previous lamp also worked fine for about 11 months so only time will tell hence the upgrade to a 4 star rating. As I previously mentioned, the desk light is beautiful , sleek and modern and it does a great job illuminating my desk area when I don't want to use the overhead lights. The only suggestion I would give to Baseus is redesign the lamp so that it fits more monitors with thicker screen frames. Oh, and get on QC's butts for letting the bad lamps slip through. Otherwise, I am very pleased that Baseus took ownership for their product's shortcomings and they were very polite throughout the replacement process. Thank you Hamy at Baseus!
