Loud music. Late night parties. Arguments, phone calls, furniture being thrown, piercing laughter! The walls of this apartment were letting it all through, making it impossible to sleep, impossible to concentrate.Four 12-packs of the acoustic foam were enough to cover about 1/3 of the wall, and weave a checkered pattern over the rest of the wall. I could no longer hear regular conversation from the neighbours, but their shouting, music and parties, though quieter, were still loud enough to startle me awake.Six 12-packs were enough to cover nearly the entire wall. Now that whole side of the room feels like it's been drowned a veil of silence. The neighbour's music is now only faintly audible. I haven't heard them shouting since I finished installing the panels. Even managed to sleep straight through to morning last night, and that hasn't happened in over a month.These panels were expensive, and it took a lot of them to get the job done, but I'm happy to have some peace again!

Good product but is very hard to clean

I used these on a downstairs bathroom door. Between using these panels and sealing the bottom of the door you cannot hear the bathroom anymore. Problem solved! I used light weight double sided foam tape. I had to super glue the tap to the panels because they are fabric but the other side of the tape held them to the door no problem. Just an inch of tape on each side.

I read the reviews before buying this item. The apartment next to me seems to want to slam kitchen cabinets 8-9 pm my bedroom wall is on their kitchen wall the wall measured 9’x7’ approximately. Originally I purchased 24 tiles thinking it would be enough but had to order 24 more which still wasn’t enough. They really do not seem to really help the situation i also have 2 noise machines in my room. Kind of really disappointed that they just don’t really work. I’m still keeping them up but also looking for another option.

Wanted to reduce humming noise from a desktop computer by placing a tiles in a 90 degree corner wall by the desk, so that 2 tiles are behind the computer, 6 are on its one side, and 2 used as a mat for the computer block. Did not notice any difference in noise level in my office. Looks like tiles do not absorb much sound. Maybe if used on a much larger area, they would be helpful, but there were only 10 tiles in the package I received, not 12 as advertised.

Moved in a place that is close to the freeway and never realised how loud it could get especially at night. Was really having a hard time sleeping and the noise was coming through the wood jealousies, bought this in a hurry and in hopes that it would make a bit better, it worked, noise seems a lot more muffled/muted... i am tempted to buy another set to double the effect. Its great for a quick and easy fix !

These are definitely not the true white color I was expecting. They're more of a light platinum grey color - like a macbook silver tone. If I had known this, I probably would have just ordered the other heathered light grey color to make it appear as more a deliberate contrast in our high-reflective white wall color.These also are not perfectly square, as with anything.. I suggest painting your wall the same color as the tiles if you plan to cover the whole wall with these. You may see paint color just barely peaking through between the tiles if you're concerned about hanging these level (since they're not perfectly square).I don't have the patience to exchange these so we'll live with the color since they do seem to help dampen the noise reflection and sort of deaden echoes in our shared office space which is filled with hard surfaces. It certainly helps the most when speaking "into" the squares while on a call.We'll likely order more to fill the space at least 2 feet (2 tiles) high above our three desks in this room.I do wish these came with some sort of appropriate adhesive. I ordered command strips - 1 adhesive sticker per corner of each tile - and they seem to be working out fine for now. We'll see how long it lasts. I only just started applying these to our walls today and we're not done yet.

I didn’t expect these to work as well as they do. I went back and ordered 5 more to fill the wall. So happy I don’t here my neighbors kids anymore
