They are a good size and hold cosmetic. They are pleasant looking. However, it is hard to get the lids to thread on evenly, leaving lid askew. Also, what I put in them is oily. If even a small bit of oil gets on the outer surface, the lid becomes very difficult to get off because the plastic surface is so smooth your hand just slides. I had to use a wide rubber band (like comes on celery) around the lid to get it off.
