It's ok
This mat does catch a lot of litter but I still have a lot of tracking. It can be hard to remove the litter from the mat as it gets stuck in the folds. Also my cat likes to scratch the mat so it will need to be replaced as she is destroying it. The blue geometric pattern is cute and looks nice, though it is getting slowly discolored by the dark brown litter I use. The size is good as it's big enough to catch litter but small enough that it doesn't take over the bathroom. For the price it's worth it.

awesome design
worked very well bigger than I thought it would be. Cat stepped on it because I guess she liked the ridges onher paws.

Pretty useless, especially with a not-so-bright cat.
I bought this after I moved to a place with hard flooring, hoping to keep the litter tracking contained to at least the room the litter box was in. Let me preface the remaining part of my review with the fact that my cat is not exactly clever (not dumb, just not very smart)...He doesn't mind walking on the mat to go INTO the litter box, but for whatever reason, he likes to jump out of it, jumping over the mat and scattering litter all over the floor... I can forgive litter getting on the floor a little- in fact I expected a little to escape the clutches of the mat on a regular basis. But what I didn't expect is for the litter to track so far as to land in my bed (by both my bare feet and my cat). Also to beware: if your cat is like mine and even a little bit of litter gets caught between the lines, he'll decide that since it's litter, he'll pee on it! The mat isn't solid material, just a flat rubbery grid (the best neutral description I can muster), so the cat piss goes straight through and gets caught underneath the mat, soaking it and the litter, making it a pain to clean up. The wet little is a PAIN to get out of the cracks, as I'm sure you would imagine. I would honestly rather have NO mat there than this one, as it's much easier to just clean my floor than this mat.Also- I have no idea why the "ears" on the mat fold. They serve absolutely NO purpose!!My advice: Save your time and and money.
