Expensive beginner machine
This is an over-priced beginners machine for short people only. I have had 2 previous ellipticals, both for about the same cost and the same stride, and both far better. As someone who uses an elliptical regularly, the highest resistance was nothing. But the main issue, which leads to almost all the others, is the foot pedals - - They are too close to the front of the machine which results in you being inches from the arms. Being so close makes the moving arms awkward and uncomfortable to use because they push your arms so far behind you.- They are ridiculously small. I have a size 6 foot and at the widest point of my sneaker, there is about 1/4 inch of pedal left to it's edge. Length-wise there's only about 3 inches left.- They are slippery. My feet kept slipping both to the front (causing me to hit my knee on the arm at least once and I'm only 5'3"!) as well as to the side - had I not been hanging on to the stationary handles I would have fallen several times. There are guards to the side, but the outside ones are only partial and, as I mentioned, I kept slipping forward so my feet were past them. I gave it a few sessions in case it was just because they were new, but I was still slipping off.In addition, the box was damaged upon arrival. There were several screws missing, most of which I was fortunate enough to find on my front porch (but not all so I only had 1 screw in each of the arms).Pluses - to be fair - it was easy to put together and quiet.
