These are identical to the originals I bought three years ago. Shipped double boxed with bubble wrap between each layer. Seller Shelley Coffey. Bulbs pull 31 watts on my meter which is the same as the originals.

Working fine with my Watts brand 8 gal/ min UV light water purifier, The Watts 20-40w ballast went bad after about a yr of actual on- time . And, replacement thru Watts was v hard to find, then costs $140 per unit .

I got these ballasts to replace another one that was supposed to last for at least 3 years. These power my UV filtration bulbs way better than the previous ones and they are less bulky which makes mounting them easier. It's the best bang for your buck as the price you would pay for one ballast, you get two in this pack.It's still early, but I'll update later if anything changes.

My previous ballast lasted almost 5 years. This one lasted less than 6 months. Not worth the money.

The original broke when removing to clean.... the o rings become very hard to get off due to the uv light making them stick to the sleeve.

Bought this as a two package deal to replace one that burnt out and to have a spare on hand. One worked for less than a month and the other did not work at all. Stay away from these ballast.

these balasts only last 3-4 months. I had 4 that went bad, am looking for a better UV system.
