This is a surprisingly high end sketchbook. The paper is thick and smooth like bristol. Perfect for pencils and pen as well as alcohol markers(has included bleedproof shield insert). Binding is layflat and cover is thick and tough with a great texture for holding while drawing in the field. I have even used guache paint and it holds up well!

This notebooks are amazing, very well made, paper is great, good thickness, doesn’t feather if you paint in it, each notebook includes a blotting silicone sheet, hard cover feels and looks great, it have a nice texture, worth all your money.

I bought this as another gift for my daughters birthday as she's gotten really into art lately. She'd done a science fair project this year comparing how different papers affected her art, which is something I'd never really thought of before. This paper is very thick and smooth, a great companion to the alcohol based pens I'd gotten her. I also liked the fact that both books included a plastic page divider to prevent any chance of bleed through or transfer of wet ink from one page to the next.

I am an absolute beginner in terms ony kind of art and I was looking for a sketchbook that I could use for drawing with color pencils and markers. Right now I am just using pencils but I'm sure it will work for everything. I didnt want to have to buy multiple sketchbooks so this works perfectly. This sketchbook comes with everything.. I love that this product comes with two sketchbooks, the smaller one is great for traveling. The best thing I like about it is there is a silicone paper guard that you put behind a piece of paper to keep any paint or markers from leaking through to the next page. There is also a pocket in the back of the book where you can tear out pages and save them there. Each page is made for you to tear out easily if you want to do that. Furthermore, there is an elastic band to keep the book shut and a book mark to save your place. The sketchbook itself seems extremely durable and of great quality inside and out. I'm not sure what it's made of but it's a very strong material. And its esthetically pleasing because it's a plain textured black with only a small logo in the top right corner on the cover. I would buy this set if you're doing any kind of artwork because it has great value and quality, you won't regret it.

I love everything about these books! The hard cover is very sturdy so they are easy to travel with. Each page is perforated for easy removal. The back of the cover is covered with the paper, so I used mine for a color key for the marker set I had. Now I have the 320 set as well. The paper is so smooth and accepts the Ohuhu marker ink wonderfully! The smoothness of the paper allows for easy blending. The pages are a thick card-stock type paper. This purchase of the two books are actually my second purchase. My first only had the smaller size book. I'm looking forward to creating artwork in my larger book.

I've seen reviews that it bleeds through. If people read the instructions, there's a special pad provided your supposed to put behind the page. So yes, it bleeds through, but it seems people forgot to put the pad. Obviously, it would be better if the pages didn't bleed through in the first place. Well, at least they provide a solution. The dimensions are a little off. Might be a production error.

Really pleased with this sketchbook. I was very excited when ohuhu released a sketchbook and hoped it would be good quality, with thick paper and it was exactly that. The paper is super smooth and great for markers. There’s almost no bleed through with alcohol markers but slight ghosting is visible on the back of the page. They provide a clear rubbery mat type thing that you put in between pages to prevent bleed through, and I highly recommend you use it, it’s a nice added touch for them to include. I’ve used all types of media in this and had no issues, there is very little warping with watercolor as well!

Purchased because my mixed media sketch pads were absorbing too much ink. These Ohuhu sketch pads are very thick, sturdy and professional feeling. They include a ribbon bookmark, elastic band to keep them shut, a pocket on the back cover to store swatch cards or artwork, and a protective sheet to prevent bleeding. The paper is really smooth and the alcohol markers blend really well on it. I swatched all of my Ohuhu markers on a page and didn't experience any bleeding, however they do show through clearly on the back. I doubt they're "bleed proof," but they don't bleed as easily as a regular sketch pad. The only drawback for me is they do not lie flat like a wire bound sketch pad. I didn't deduct stars for this because they do sell a wire bound sketch pad, but I preferred the look of these. Much more professional.
