For the cost it is good value. Very neat, well laid out, AV output, boots fast and flashing a new image is easy.Could have done with another USB port but otherwise its very good. Plus it does blind scan which many other makers claim to be coming but it never arrives.

Have openAtv 6.4 after flash and kodi working well. What can be added , is hard drive socket or usb .3.2 connection (usb C)

Bought this to replace my Sky Box (I cancelled my subscription to stop paying so much money to those leeches). Unfortunately, it's clear at first sight that even with all the tinkering + software updates of the world, the quality of the Octagon will never be as good as the Sky box. The interface, the quality of the signal, the fact you have to keep activating the subtitles any time you change the channel...If you are a real handyman and like to tinker with it + using it as well as IPTV player, then that's a different story, it might be worth a shot. In my case, I tried, but some reboots here and there, one of the tuners not working properly, following some videos online to update the software but always something failing, many of the tuned channels not working... I gave up of pure frustration after 1 hour of playing around with it.Also, beware: the plug is European, not British. You will need an adaptor.
